The Wicked star wasn't having any of it when the Armchair Expert podcast host asked her how she manages to wipe herself with her long nails while using the bathroom.

Wicked star Cynthia Erivo has made it clear she has little time for people's nonsense—that's one of the things fans love about her.

And the latest to test her patience was podcaster Dax Shepard, who asked Erivo a TMI question that left her bristling a bit even as she took it in stride.

Erivo stopped by Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast to promote Wicked, and during their conversation Shepard asked her a personal question about her style, namely her long fingernails.

Specifically, Shepard wanted to know how Erivo wipes herself after going to the bathroom with such long nails. Oh brother.

Shepard asked:

"Can I ask you a really crazy question that's inappropriate? When you're wiping your butt—"

Erivo then interrupted him to say "I knew you would ask that." This is because, she said, everyone constantly asks her this question, and she always has the same answer.

"My answer is: Nobody uses just their fingers to wipe their backside. You use tissue. Correct? And you wipe."

Shepard was undeterred, however, and kept pushing, asking if she felt "the tickle of your nails on the crack of your butt" while doing the deed. To which Erivo responded with the obvious.

"No, because the tissue's there."

Shepard then seemed to sense Erivo's annoyance and asked if she gets frustrated by the question. Erivo was circumspect but admitted she's had enough with this line of questioning.

"I get it, I'm annoyed by it, like, come on, guys. I get it, but I'm a functioning adult and I've never walked around smelling like... you know."

The back-and-forth between Shepard and Erivo definitely made an impression on people on social media.

No doubt, Erivo handled the question like a pro—and was even nice enough not to bring up Shepard's infamous comments about not bathing very often.

A class act.

People Who Smashed Wedding Cake In Their Spouse's Face Reveal How Their Relationship Is Going Now

According to The Knot wedding resource magazine and website, smashing cake into the face of a spouse after tying the knot is a tradition tied to medieval England. To celebrate the marriage, the bride would toss a piece of piece of cake over her shoulder for good luck.

This evolved into newlyweds feeding a piece of cake to one another, then taking frosting or a small bit of cake and rubbing it gently onto each other's faces—usually the cheek or tip of the nose.

She and her older sister, Malia, now 26, spent their formative years in the presidential residence, growing up there throughout their father’s two terms, until the family departed in 2017.

The term malaphor means when two or more colloquial phrases or idioms get confused and combined to create something nonsensical. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), malaphors are a common symptom of frontotemporal dementia or other cognitive impairments.

So when a person seeks to accuse someone of being unintelligent, their use of malaphors is ironic and possibly very telling—narcissists will always accuse others of their own faults and failures.
