Cardi B Sparks Debate After Calling Out 6-Year-Old Daughter For Drawing On $60k Handbag

The rapper voiced her displeasure after her 6-year-old daughter Kulture drew a heart on her $60k Hermès Birkin bag—but some fans think it actually adds more value.

Remember: Nothing should come between a woman and her Birkin bag, especially if that woman is Cardi B.

Popular rap artist Cardi B has proudly shared details over the years of her extravagant lifestyle, including her purchases of expensive clothes and accessories and spending in excess of $3 million each month. And no, that is not a typo.

The rapper and her ex-husband, fellow rapper Offset, have also shared their wealth with their three children, going so far as to buy a $8,000 pink Hermès Birkin bag for their daughter Kulture's second birthday present, so she could be "fly" like them.

Cardi reasoned:

"If I'm fly and Daddy's fly, then so is the kid!"

But piquing her daughter's interest in Birkin bags and other expensive accessories may have not led to the appreciation and care for the items that the singer might have hoped to inspire in her young daughter.

In a since-expired Instagram story, Cardi B appeared, totally crashing out over one of the Birkin bags in her personal collection.

Gesturing to her yellow crocodile-skin Birkin, she vented:

"I literally spent $60,000 on this purse. Look what my daughter did to my purse."

She repeated in disbelief:

"Look what my daughter did to my purse!"

As the camera zoomed in, a small heart drawn in ballpoint pen became visible, drawn on the top of the bag shortly above the clasp.

Some pointed out that this was the perfect example of why they didn't want to have kids.

But most felt that Kulture was just being a kid and that this little heart actually increased the bag's value exponentially.

The rap artist has previously voiced her desire for her children to "stay humble" and not take their lives for granted.

“They need to know to never feel comfortable. Don’t ever feel like, 'I’m going to get it because I’m Cardi and Offset’s kid.'"
"They are never going to know what struggle feels like, so they might not have that hunger I had to leave the streets."
"Even though my kids are well-off, I want them to know that when you work for things and achieve it, it’s more respected, especially when people see that you bust your a** for it."

Though Cardi might be upset right now by her newly-decorated Birkin, it might be just the conversation starter for her to ensure that Kulture always understands the privilege of the life she has and not to take it for granted, even when there's money to buy a replacement.

Newsmax Host Epically Blasted For His Hypocrisy After Defending Trump's Profane Easter Tweet

Newsmax host Greg Kelly defended President Donald Trump's use of profanity in his Easter morning threat to Iran, prompting critics to resurface one of his own past tweets calling for a ban on use of the f-word.

Trump lashed out at Iran amid growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. Recently, Iran has struck several vessels in the area and warned ships against entering the passage, effectively halting traffic through one of the world’s most crucial energy routes.

The crew member, a weapons systems officer, was wounded after ejecting from the aircraft Friday but was able to walk and evaded capture in the mountains for more than a day.
