Moore, who was married to Willis from 1987 to 2000, shared a clip of the actor being serenaded by his family as he turned 68.

Bruce Willis turned 68 on Sunday, and the actor celebrated surrounded by his family.

His ex-wife Demi Moore - to whom Willis was married from 1987 to 2000 - shared a video on social media of the Die Hard star having a blast being serenaded by his family before blowing out his birthday candles.

She tweeted the video with the caption:

"Happy birthday, BW!"
"So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family."
"Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes. - we all feel them."

Willis was diagnosed with aphasia in the spring of 2022 but last month was more specifically diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) which can cause changes in behavior, loss of speech and movement disorders.

Viewers of his birthday video celebrated his resilience and the joy he displayed, also wishing him a happy one, of course. Many also thanked Moore for allowing fans a glimpse into such an intimate and bright moment for the star.

Willis' wife Emma Heming Willis also shared a lovely birthday video celebrating her husband.

Set to the tune of Stevie Wonder's "As," she captioned her Instagram post:

"He is pure love. He is so loved. And I'll be loving him always."
"Happy Birthday my sweet 💌"
"My birthday wish for Bruce is that you continue to keep him in your prayers and highest vibrations because his sensitive Pisces soul will feel it 🙏"

She finished her post:

"Thank you so much for loving and caring for him too 💞"

Happy birthday, Mr. Willis. We're thrilled to see you spent your day surrounded by so much love.
