The Democratic Rep. was stopped by Spectrum News NY1 to give her take on President Trump and Elon Musk's epic feud—and she didn't disappoint.

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did not disappoint with her reaction to the ongoing public feud between President Donald Trump and his one-time billionaire ally Elon Musk, giving a cheeky response to the camera and grinning widely when approached by Spectrum News NY1.

The situation blew up when Musk denounced Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill as a "disgusting abomination" and vowed to kill the legislation if not have lawmakers revise it altogether.

Musk's about-face was stunning considering he and Trump appeared to be on excellent terms mere days ago, when Trump openly praised Musk's contributions on Musk's final day leading the advisory Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Things escalated after Trump suggested in response to Musk's criticism that Musk's companies could lose valuable government contracts.

In response, Musk went nuclear, claiming that Trump’s name appeared in the so-called Epstein files—a reference to documents related to the late financier, pedophile, and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein that are rumored to contain the names of public figures who amount to many of Epstein's most high-profile enablers.

It's all so juicy—and when asked for her reaction, Ocasio-Cortez said:

"Oh, man. The girls are fighting, aren't they?"

You can hear what she said in the video below.

Oh, yes they are—and the reactions were priceless.

In a longer clip of her response, Ocasio-Cortez, one of the biggest Democratic critics of the One Big Beautiful Bill, also pointed out that we shouldn't be too surprised by the rapid deterioration of the Trump-Musk relationship.

She said:

"I would say this has been a long time coming, where we've been seeing that these two huge egos were not long for being together in this world as friends."
"I think this break-up we've been seeing a long time coming, but we'll see what the impacts are of it legislatively."

And people had things to say about that, too.

You can always count on AOC to throw some serious shade.
