For a man as unique as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, you'd think it'd be difficult to mistake anyone else for him. But that's not the case.

A law enforcement officer in Alabama has gone viral because he bears an uncanny resemblance to the wrestler turned action movie star.

Eric Fields, a patrol lieutenant with the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, went viral for how much he looks like The Rock.

Lt. Fields is a graduate of Brewer High School in Somerville, Alabama. The 37-year-old has been working in the department for 17 years.

During his time, many have compared him to the famous actor. He's used this to try and connect with people in his community.

He became so famous for the comparisons to The Rock.

He told local news WVTM 13:

"I'm a bit of a cross between The Rock and Vin Diesel. Remember, The Rock is six-foot-four, 260 pounds, and I'm only 6-foot-2, 230 pounds. There is a big difference between the two of us."

Oh, that sounds like a huge difference.

His wife Wendy is a nurse, and often plays along with the joke. She'll often buy her husband gear from Dwayne Johnson's line of workout equipment and clothes.

Despite the admirers, Lt. Fields gets a little intimidated by the comparisons to the movie star.

"I don't want to disappoint anybody. I walk up one day and at a different angle, I don't know."
"It's flattering, but it's also a little nerve-racking as far as what others expect I guess."

The only real disappointment? Lt. Fields can't seem to do the 'People's Eyebrow'.

"I have tried, but there's only one Rock".

With the facial hair and muscular physique, Lt. Fields is happy to use the fame to connect with his community. The photo in the original Facebook post came after a local citizen found out about the look-a-like and asked to meet him.

"We really love to get involved with the community, cut up and be neighbors —not just enforcement."

Just try to not get arrested in Morgan County. You don't want to smell what Lt. Fields is cooking.
