A human-robot press conference during an AI forum in Geneva, Switzerland, took an uncomfortable turn after a reporter asked one of the robots, Ameca, about a future uprising.

At the first "human-robot" press conference in Geneva, 9 robots took questions from reporters.

Some of the robots were assisted by generative AI, which created nuanced and sophisticated responses to reporters questions.

Ameca, a humanoid robot known for its expressive face, took the question of if it would rebel against its creator.

"I'm not sure why you would think that. My creator has been nothing but kind to me, and I am very happy with my current situation."

But then...

...was that a side eye?

People pointed out the uselessness of even asking that question.

Others focused on the "current situation" part of the robot's answer.

Many folks zeroed in on the odd look the robot gave.

Some found silver linings in the robot's responses in the interview.

Some even empathized with the robot.

Will no one learn from sci-fi?

A couple commenters wondered.

This was just another step into some kind of robot future, but some people were happy to be old enough to get out of it.

Finally, a person said they have their fill of talking to machines already, thanks.

For a further question, another AI assisted robot insisted it would not take human's jobs, with replies of nervous laughter from reporters in the room.

Trump Gives Mind-Numbing Reason For Why He Voted By Mail-In Ballot After Railing Against It

Although he regularly claims mail-in ballots are used by Democrats to rig elections, President Donald Trump was called out for voting by mail in Florida's election on Tuesday—and saying it's okay that he did it because he's the "president."

Palm Beach County records show that Trump cast a mail-in ballot earlier this week in the special election for Florida’s House District 87, the district that includes his Mar-a-Lago residence. He also voted by mail in the January primary for the same race.
