Adam Lambert's Impression Of Cher Singing 'The Muffin Man' Is Way Better Than It Should Be

Adam Lambert shows off his Cher Impression with a rousing rendition of 'The Muffin Man' on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'

Adam Lambert proved he was up to the task of smashing the competition when he participated in a challenge on Jimmy Fallon's That's My Jam game show.

The American Idol alum and accomplished solo artist appeared on Monday night's episode of Fallon's show inspired by the popular musical segment featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.


Lambert slayed when he sang "The Muffin Man" while impersonating Cher–a combo that was generated for him after spinning "The Wheel of Musical Impressions."

When Fallon asked Lambert, "Do you have a Cher in you?" he confidently responded:

"I got it. I got it."

Lambert flawlessly demonstrated to the audience he was born for this moment.

He stepped up to the mic and channeled the iconic singer. The accompanying live band played Cher's 1998 hit, "Believe" as the backing track for Lambert's rousing rendition of the traditional children's nursery rhyme.

Fans were blown away by a performance that was supposed to be a silly moment.



The man can do no wrong, according to fans.





The ridiculousness of the song combo was not lost on these Twitizens.





Lambert is no stranger to re-imagining songs.

His fifth studio album High Drama includes tracks of covers spanning various musical genres, including Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero," Sia's "Chandelier," Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire," and Billie Eilish's "Getting Older."

In addition to his accomplished solo career, he also collaborated with the rock band Queen and has been performing as the lead vocalist for Queen + Adam Lambert since 2011.
