If you think you are too old to learn a new skill, think again. One woman decided to teach herself to play the violin and the results are beautiful.

A woman from Norway, 24-year-old Therese Trollbu, who goes by the name "Violin Noobie" posted edited clips spanning two years while she learned to play the violin.

Along with the video she posted the following message:

"I'm a 24 year old adult beginner from Norway, and I wanted to see if it was possible to learn to play the violin as an adult. This is the first instrument I learned to play."
"This video is a collection of all the videos I recorded since I first started to play the violin. From week 1 until today. I didn't think I could get this far in the short amount of time I've played."
"I didn't really expect anything when i started. I just wanted to try and see how far i'll get. I'm mostly self-taught. I had a teacher last year but only had a total of 8 lessons."
"Hoping to find a new teacher soon. I hope you like this video. UPDATE: I got a teacher after 2 years and 5 months. I have one lesson every week."
