But the part about her husband really intrigued viewers and prompted a response video in which the creator recounted the excruciating moment she told her husband she realized she was a lesbian.

The TikToker revealed she came out to him about three years ago and revealed she'd never really shared the painful experience with anyone.

But she explained:

"The day that I realized I was gay, I had to work and I wasn't able to talk to my husband."

The creator shared that one of her coworkers asked her to work on her day off to which she is quite sure she responded:

"No, I have to go tell my husband that I'm a lesbian."

@aili.likes.adventure went home after work and told her husband "everything that had led up to me realizing that, yes, I am gay." His first response was, "Should we go to therapy?"

The TikToker said the couple continued to live together and helped each other move on with their new lives, with her even helping him create a dating profile.

They both eventually started dating other people, though in retrospect @aili.likes.adventure wished she would have waited a bit longer.

Unfortunately, the relationship with her now-ex-husband completely faded.

"We had planned on remaining friends, and I was really excited about that."
"But he told me he was going on a two week road trip to just find himself, and I just kind of never really heard from him again."

She shared she's unsure of his location or status but has "wanted to reach out to him for the longest time" but revealed she's "kind of terrified."

She finished:

"I just hope he's happy. And I hope he found a good straight woman."
