Joe Biden And His Family Accidentally Crashed The 'Reacher' Set And Met Star Alan Ritchson
A bystander told Philly's local CBS affiliate that he was watching the filming when a bunch of black SUVs suddenly pulled up.
The bystander said:
"Out walked these men that I thought were actors, but then the entire cast and crew started clapping and cheering."
When he heard people saying, "We love you, Joe," he realized what was happening: The former President had just pulled up.
Reacher star Alan Ritchson shared the encounter on his Instagram account, including the moment he got to shake the former POTUS's hand.
In his caption, Ritchson wrote:
"So our Reacher set got in the way of these legends."
The set was located near Parc, a bistro where Biden, former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and son Hunter Biden were dining.
Ritchson went on to call it a "privilege and honor" to meet the former First Family.
"They couldn’t have been more lovely. Kind, joyful, gracious and present."
He then joked about Biden beating him at arm wrestling, quite a feat given Ritchson's jacked physique.
The Biden family outing comes just a month after the news of his diagnosis with prostate cancer. But the former President looked in good form and was all smiles in the photos Ritchson shared.
Ritchson has been outspoken about his left-wing political beliefs in recent years, statements which have left many of Reacher's MAGA-loving fans outraged. And, of course, his meeting with Biden was no exception.
But Reacher and Biden fans alike had a good time roasting the triggered MAGA types in the comments, regardless.
Though people had plenty of positive things to say about both men, too.
Reacher is based on the best-selling Jack Reacher book series by author Lee Childs. Its fourth season, which is currently in production, does not yet have a release date.

But Trump—who has been accused of racism many times—is clearly not keen on the day, given that the White House did not acknowledge it this year and that he instead took to Truth Social with the following message:
"Too many non-working holidays in America. It is costing our Country $BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to keep all of these businesses closed. The workers don't want it either! Soon we'll end up having a holiday for every once working day of the year."

Many have rebuked Trump's remarks—which are a classic case of projection considering he spends so much time playing golf and ranting on social media instead of governing.
It's worth noting that during his first term, Trump attacked those who took to the streets to condemn racism and police brutality following the murder of George Floyd, suggesting they should be shot "when the looting starts," breathing life into stereotypes about people of color being more inclined toward criminality.
We'd be here all day listing all of the other instances Trump has been accused of racism but consider a federal lawsuit that was filed against Trump in the 1970s alleging his real estate company had a policy of not renting to Black tenants.
Not a surprise this day would bother him so much.
