The Mayor Of Dayton Just Subtly Slammed Trump's Potential Visit To The City After His 'Toledo' Gaffe

The Mayor Of Dayton Just Subtly Slammed Trump's Potential Visit To The City After His 'Toledo' Gaffe

On Monday, President Donald Trump finally addressed White supremacy, White nationalism and racism in the United States, condemning it in an address for broadcast to the nation after a weekend of deadly mass shootings by at least one domestic terrorist.

The President took a lot of heat for not condemning White nationalism or White supremacy in the past.

However everything did not go smoothly during his speech.

The President also said:

"May God bless the memory of those who perished in Toledo."

He added:

"May God protect them. May God protect all of those from Texas to Ohio. May God bless the victims and their families. May God bless America."

The domestic terrorist attacks occurred in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.

Toledo is about 100 miles from Dayton. But it is in Ohio at least.

Needless to say, people were not shocked that the President had no idea Toledo was not the right city. But they were also not amused that the POTUS knew so little about the mass shootings that occurred while he was at his Trump International golf resort in New Jersey.

Watch his remarks here:

One of the people who reacted to the latest presidential gaffe was Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley.

When asked about a potential presidential visit to her city, Whaley said:

"I've heard that [President Trump's] coming Wednesday but I have not gotten a call. And you know he might be going to Toledo, I don't know."

For those unfamiliar with the terms "throwing shade" or "reading" except in relation to the sun and books, the legendary Crystal Labeija introduced the world to the art form in the 1968 film, The Queen. Then it was defined in the 1991 film Paris Is Burning which introduced the world to the drag ball culture featured in the FX series Pose.

People really appreciated Mayor Whaley's skills.

People also wondered if the President could feel the burn.

People hoped Trump would stay away.

Although his record number of golf outings to his own resorts where he profits off every visit came up again...

...as well as his fragility when faced with criticism...

...and failure to pay his bills.

Is there someone at the White House they can send the bill to?

People didn't mind Mayor Whaley's response to the latest presidential faux pas.

Mayor Whaley proved you can be shady and still be a lady (JFGI, I'm not defining that one for you).

CNN Just Used A Hilarious Poll To Show Just How Unpopular Trump's Ballroom Is—And We're Cackling

After President Donald Trump claimed that his new White House ballroom is "very popular" with the American public, CNN shared a hilariously shady poll that gets to the truth of the matter.

Last year, Trump ordered the demolition of the entire East Wing to make way for a 90,000 square-foot ballroom that will dwarf the size of the White House itself, sparking alarm from historical preservationists and the public alike.

Woman In Labor Times How Long Her Husband Takes To Poop To See If She Can Push Their Baby Out Faster In Hilarious Viral Video

It's well-known across the internet that it takes forever for men to use the restroom. For dads especially, in the time it takes them to poop, when they return to the house, their kids will have aged seven years, and their baby will have learned to walk.

These are jokes, of course, but it's an internet consensus that men spend a really long time on the porcelain throne.
