Former President Donald Trump is infamous for demanding unconditional loyalty. Any previous devotion, no matter how old, can be erased with one act of perceived betrayal.

Last week, Congress finally passed the first part of President Joe Biden's infrastructure package. The bill, which passed the Senate months ago, passed the House with bipartisan support for the billions it allocates for public transportation, electric vehicle incentives, and the most substantial investment in public rail since the birth of Amtrak, among other vital improvements.

Nineteen Senate Republicans and Thirteen House Republicans supported the bill, and Trump took this as a personal affront. He particularly lashed out at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky—Trump's onetime ally before McConnell refused to support Trump's efforts to overthrow the results of the 2020 election.

In an all-too-typical deranged statement, Trump railed against McConnell for voting in favor of the bill.

Trump wrote:

"Why is it that Old Crow Mitch McConnell voted for a terrible Democrat Socialist Infrastructure Plan, and induced others in his Party to do likewise, when he was incapable of getting a great Infrastructure Plan wanting to be put forward by me and the Republican Party? He continuously said he couldn't get it passed, just like I had to go around him to get the very popular Southern Border Wall built ... Also, why did Mitch give the Democrats a two-month hiatus, just long enough for them to figure it all out, when they were completely ready to fold?"

The nonsensical diatribe was ridiculed across Twitter.

Meanwhile, Trump's supporters joined the former President in railing against McConnell.

Just days earlier, Trump released a statement against former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie—another one time ally of his.

Trump Dragged After Making Outrageous Comparison To Zohran Mamdani In Viral Clip

President Donald Trump was widely mocked after he asserted during a 60 Minutes interview with Norah O'Donnell that he's "much better-looking" than New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani—a claim that not a soul is taking seriously.

Trump isn't exactly known to be a looker but he has nonetheless declared himself a "perfect physical specimen" and boasted about his physical prowess, once noting that his own White House physician had declared him "healthier than Obama"—despite Trump's distaste for exercise and fondness for fast food.

Trump shared an update about ongoing renovations aboard Air Force One while en route to Florida for the weekend, even as the federal government remains shut down and his administration continues to refuse to release all of the emergency funds to sustain SNAP food assistance benefits through November.
