Trump Calls Biden A 'Lunatic' In Unhinged Video—And Everyone Had The Same Response

After Donald Trump hilariously called Joe Biden a "stark raving lunatic" who's "gone mad" in a Truth Social video, many X users made the same observation.

Former President Donald Trump is facing criticism on social media for his recent over-the-top attacks on President Joe Biden, with some critics pointing out that his accusations seem to reflect a case of projection.

In a video posted to his Truth Social site, Trump accused Biden of being "a stark raving lunatic."

You can hear what Trump said in the video below.

Trump ranted:

"I believe that he has gone mad—a stark raving lunatic."

Trump once infamously referred to himself as a "stable genius" even as his actions while in office faced heavy criticism for threatening American alliances and the balance of the world order.

This behavior—which included ordering the assassination of General Qasem Soleimani and his deferential attitude toward authoritarians like Russian leader Vladimir Putin—marked a major escalation in tensions between Washington and its political adversaries.

Indeed, the former President's penchant for holding grudges often threatened the Republican Party, whose exhausted members have urged senior leadership to ditch Trump, particularly after the midterms did not result in the "red wave" GOP legislators and pollsters had predicted.

Additionally, Trump weaponized the FBI and Department of Justice in his efforts to overturn the 2020 general election, actions for which he is currently facing both federal and state charges. He has also continued to attack prosecutors—against all legal advice—and has been admonished for alleged witness tampering.

Which led many users online to have the same response to Trump's current accusations against Biden.

The suggestion that Biden is both physically and "mentally frail" has become a favorite talking point in conservative circles even though claims about an alleged cognitive impairment are entirely unfounded.

In September 2020, ABC News reported the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) withheld intelligence warning of Russian disinformation attacking Biden to promote "allegations about poor mental health."

The intelligence bulletin, titled "Russia Likely to Denigrate Health of US Candidates to Influence 2020 Election," said American intelligence determined Russian operatives are sowing disinformation to convince the American electorate Biden has dementia and would be unfit to serve in office.

But the fact that the bulletin contains discredited allegations about Biden's mental health has not stopped conservative critics from claiming that Biden is very much at the mercy of his handlers.

Kids Can Press, the Canadian publisher behind the beloved Franklin children's books, condemned Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in a statement after he shared an AI-generated image of Franklin the Turtle to justify his attacks on alleged drug-smuggling vessels in the Caribbean.

Hegseth's original meme, which he inexplicably captioned "for your Christmas wish list," features a doctored book cover titled Franklin Targets Narco Terrorists and shows Franklin, the protagonist of the popular Canadian children's book series authored by Paulette Bourgeois and illustrated by Brenda Clark, firing a bazooka from a helicopter at boats in the water below.
