President Donald Trump rarely misses an opportunity to kick someone when they're down.

However just because someone may be facing a setback, it doesn't mean they'll take Trump's abuse lying down.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg continued to strike back after Trump swung on him. First Trump—a self-proclaimed but unverified billionaire—posted on Twitter calling Bloomberg—a verified billionaire—mini Mike.

Bloomberg responded with a Star Wars clip.

For those unfamiliar with the franchise, this is where Obi-wan Kenobi tells Darth Vader that even if he strikes him down, he'll return more powerful than ever.

Trump responded with a meme created from a clip from Spaceballs.

Because the best response to an iconic line from Star Wars: A New Hope about falling, but returning to defeat an evil empire is another short joke.

However when you're a verified billionaire, you have the resources to create your own video instead of borrowing memes.

Bloomberg responded to Trump with a video compilation that made the message from his first clip—just because he's down momentarily doesn't mean he's done fighting evil—perfectly clear.

People appreciated Bloomberg out trolling Trump.

Trump is now facing someone with more money and more "executive time" on his hands. How Bloomberg will affect the 2020 election remains to be seen.

While Mad Liberals borrowed Spaceballs footage for their pro-Trump meme, people shouldn't hold that against Mel Brooks. You can get a Brooks triple feature with Spaceballs, Young Frankenstein and Robin Hood here.
