The actor opened up last year about his and his wife's decision to be childfree—and it's sparked some heated debate on X, formerly Twitter, after resurfacing.

Seth Rogen just went viral after his comments about not wanting to have children resurfaced. And frankly, how dare he!?

... at least according to some conservatives.

Rogen recently went on Diary of a CEO podcast and talked about his decision to be childfree, which reminded people of his 2021 appearance on The Howard Stern Show in which the actor expressed his "happiness" over choosing not to have kids.

At the time, he told the host:

"I don't know anyone who gets as much happiness out of their kids as we get out of our nonkids."
"Like, we're f**king psyched all the time! We're laying in bed on Saturday mornings smoking weed, watching movies naked. If we had kids, we could not be f**king doing this."

When Stern noted that children become the priority in relationships, Rogen responded:

“I don’t want that. That does not sound fun to me."
“And why?”
“There’s enough kids out there. We need more people? Who looks at the planet right now and thinks, 'You know what we need right now? More f**king people.' "
"That's truly a confounding thing to me."

Well, that did not sit well with many conservatives, and one user on X, formerly Twitter, shared a screenshot of Rogen's quote about smoking weed and tweeted:

“I wouldn’t trade Saturday mornings with my kids for anything.”

Some conservatives agreed with the tweet, claiming the only way to truly be fulfilled in life is to procreate.

Fortunately, others on social media recognized that having children just isn't for everyone... and that's totally fine.

On his recent podcast appearance, Rogen shared similar thoughts, telling host Steven Bartlett:

“There’s a whole huge thing I’m not doing, which is raising children.”

When Bartlett asked if Rogen and his wife, Lauren, might be "happier" with kids, Rogen responded:

“I’ve been around obviously a lot of children, I'm not ignorant to what it’s like. … Everyone I know has kids. I'm 40, you know? I know."
“Some of my friends have had kids for decades. Some people want kids, some people don't want kids.”
“A lot of people have kids before they even think about it, from what I've seen, honestly."
“You just are told, 'You go through life, you get married, you have kids' — it’s what happens."

But he and his wife didn't fall into that pattern...

“Me and my wife, neither of us were like that."

... and they're more than happy with their choices.

“Honestly, the older we get, the more happy and reaffirmed we are with our choice to not have kids. It was something we kind of talked about more, and we were like, ‘Have we made the right choice? Are we sure?’"
“Now, more than anything, the conversation is like, ‘Honestly, thank god we don’t have children."
“We get to do whatever we want.”

Rogen concluded:

“We are in the prime of our lives. We are smarter than we've ever been. We understand ourselves more than we ever have."
"We have the capacity to achieve a level of work and a level of communication and care for one another, and a lifestyle we can live with one another that we've never been able to live before, and we can just do that and we don't have to raise a child — which the world does not need right now."

White House's 'Two Kings' Photo Of Trump And King Charles Gets Ripped For Hypocrisy Using Trump's Own Words

The White House was reminded of what President Donald Trump claimed just days ago after sharing an image on social media of Trump and King Charles III and declaring them "two kings."

Charles addressed a joint meeting of Congress on Tuesday, becoming only the second British monarch to do so after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who spoke in 1991. His speech came as Trump has repeatedly criticized British Prime Minister Keir Starmer over Britain’s refusal to back the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.

New York Hockey Fans Step Up As Singer's Mic Goes Out During 'O Canada'—And Everyone Had The Same Thought

It only took a few seconds of silence for thousands of hockey fans to realize what was happening, and without hesitation, they stepped in. Fans at KeyBank Center took over during the singing of O Canada before Game 5 of the Eastern Conference First Round on Tuesday after anthem singer Cami Clune’s microphone cut out.

Once the crowd caught on, they didn’t miss a beat, singing in sync while filling in the lyrics together in a moment that quickly grew into something bigger than the game itself. So, what could have been an awkward pause turned into a full-arena singalong, with voices rising in sync across the building.
