Some you might agree with, some you might not—after all, it's pretty tough to predict the future—but the point really is to highlight how plenty of very different technologies could have a bigger impact on our lives than intended. It's unlikely any of them will bring about the decline of modern society, but they could well change our lives in ways we hadn't anticipated.
