What is something you still can't believe you've done?

Never Giving Up

motivating bart simpson GIFGiphy

Passed mathematics after failing two years, I have dyscalculia so doing maths was a struggle for me.

Starlight_Liger

Congrats! You didn't give up, and that's what matters.

weirdbacon

In 2020? Impressive.

Over the year, I've managed to make strides in overcoming my depression and social anxiety.

You go, you! Hugs from an internet mom who's proud og you!

Finding Someone You Love, No Matter When

At age 39 I started my first gay relationship. At age 40, we are still together and I am in the best relationship of my life.

Setting Out On Your Own

Traveled by myself to America when I was fresh out of highschool. I live in South Africa, so it was a real experience for me; broadened a lot of my perspectives. I also did it out of my own, I had minimal help from family (we're low to mid class) so it was all the more rewarding

I Made That? I MADE THAT?

Had a baby.

It still catches me by surprise sometimes that I really have a child and that I made her.

This is exactly what I was going to write! Sometimes I look at my son and have this moment of, wow you're a real human person that I made inside my body !

Take A Gander Over The Side

Stood at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I have a terrible fear of heights.

OctopussGoat

If you had the chance and refused, you would probably have regret that for the rest of your life. Good on you for conquering your fear!

weirdbacon

Oh I definitely would've regretted it that's why I forced myself to do it. They don't make it easy when you have to queue for the lift to the top on a level that's already 400ft up and that lift has windows on all sides!

Never Too Late To Start

Getting a degree in psychology, at the ripe age of 55!

aybee1965

Internet high five. I'm not quite that aged. Three of us all went back and finished our degrees in our mid and late 30's. We had all started freshman year together at the same college and just didn't graduate back then for various reasons.

Get a college degree...even if it really hasn't afforded me any opportunities.

dihedral3

Getting the education component done is a major part of the battle. Even if it doesn't land you in your ideal job environment, a degree has encouraged you to be a critical thinker and always asking questions instead of accepting for what is. Best wishes!

Putting Yourself On The Line

Asked a girl out face to face (got rejected)

deltawolf5663

Rejection is upsetting, but you grew as a person. The right one is still out there for you!

weirdbacon

Score!

Slept with a few people I was attracted to. I'm like a solid 3

warholglasses

Maybe a 3 to you, but you could be a 10 to them.

Vance Gets Brutal Reminder After Accusing Jen Psaki Of 'Attacking' People For Praying Following School Shooting

Vice President JD Vance was criticized after he lashed out at MSNBC host Jen Psaki for saying that "prayer is not freaking enough" to end school shootings after a shooter killed two children and wounded 17 others during the first week of classes at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.

Psaki spoke out on X shortly after the shooting occured, to stress that "thoughts and prayers" don't actually address or prevent mass shootings and gun violence overall:

Video Of Little Boy Sobbing After Finding Out Trump Is A Real Person Goes Viral—And We Totally Get It

Whether it was Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, or some other important facet of childhood, most of us found out when we were kids that something we loved did not exist, and it was absolutely devastating and world-changing.

But imagine there being something that you deeply disliked or feared, only for you to find out that it actually exists on the same plane and in the same timeline as you.

Woman Stunned After Best Friend Of 23 Years Ends Friendship Over Her 'Mom Shorts'

We will all have friends who come into our lives for a reason, for a season, or for a lifetime. There are those situational friendships, like from work or school, that dissolve when we exit that space, and there are friendships that might form from knowing the same people.

Then there are those tried-and-true friendships that we think will truly stand the test of time—but even those sometimes fracture under pressure. And sometimes for the most ridiculous reasons.

Woman Sparks Debate By Putting Out Small Fire At Dunkin' Donuts After Workers Ignored It

Imagine hitting that afternoon slump and seeking out your favorite caffeinated beverage: a highlight in an otherwise dumpster fire kind of day. But then you arrive at your coffeehouse of choice—and there's literally a fire.

TikToker Cristina Conklin was waiting in line for a beverage at Dunkin' Donuts in Warwick, New York, when she became either a villain or a hero, depending on who was watching her TikTok video.

MAGA Fumes Over Fox Gun Control Talk

The nation is reeling after yesterday’s mass shooting at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis, where a gunman opened fire during a Catholic school Mass, killing two children and injuring more than a dozen others. The tragedy has not only shaken the community but also reignited the national debate over guns in America—this time sparked by an unlikely voice.

Former Republican congressman and Fox News host of Sunday Night in America, Trey Gowdy—long seen as a staunch defender of gun rights and a past recipient of National Rifle Association contributions—surprised many of his own allies when he called for a national reckoning on firearms access.
