Nope.

The 116th Congress will include several firsts. One of those is the most women ever to be in Congress. The Senate will have at least 24 female Senators and the House of Representatives will have at least 102 women.

While those numbers are still far less than half, it is still a major demographic change from just a decade ago when Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi of California became the first woman to ever serve as Speaker of the House. In the 110th Congress of 2008, there were 16 women in the Senate and 73 in the House.

South Dakota and Maine also elected their first female Governors in the 2018 midterm elections. More women also ran for offices in 2018 than ever before, at all levels of government.

In addition to more women entering Congress, more diversity will be represented in 2019. The first female Muslims and Native Americans, as well as the first Black woman to represent Massachusetts and first Latina to represent Texas will be in the 116th Congress.

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) took to Twitter on Wednesday to express her joy over the gains made by women, especially women of color, in 2018.

But not everyone likes the idea of either diversity or gender equality. For some, the idea of others gaining equality with their rights and privileges means they "lose" something.

Donald Trump Jr. responded to Senator Gillibrand's post, claiming strides by women and increased diversity mean there is "no future" for his sons.

People who understood Gillibrand's message quickly pointed it out to Donald Trump Jr.

This was not the first time Trump Jr. tried to be clever on Twitter and saw more pushback than support.

Others thought Trump Jr. might be limited in his communications soon.

And internet personality "Mrs. Betty Bowers America's Best Christian"—aka comedian Deven Green—had a message about what might excite Trump Jr.'s daughters more.

Senator Gillibrand did not respond to Trump Jr.'s tweet, however, the younger Trump did not tag Gillibrand or reply directly to her original post.

The Men's Hockey Team Just Let Donald Trump Wear One Of Their Gold Medals—And The Jokes Came Pouring In

President Donald Trump was widely mocked after the U.S. men's hockey team arrived in Washington fresh off their victory at the Winter Olympics and handed him a gold medal to try on.

Jon Stewart Says What We're All Thinking About Kash Patel After USA Hockey Locker Room Video Goes Viral

After FBI Director Kash Patel made headlines for chugging a beer and wearing a gold medal in the locker room of the USA Men's Olympics Hockey team following their gold medal win at the Winter Olympics, Daily Show host Jon Stewart mocked him profusely, saying what we're all thinking about the display.

In footage circulated online by William Turton of ProPublica, Patel appears to down a bottle of beer, throw his arms up, and slam his fist on a table in celebration. Moments later, Matthew Tkachuk of Team USA is seen placing his medal around Patel’s neck, after which Patel joins the victorious hockey players in singing "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" by Toby Keith.

Former 'Jimmy Kimmel' Writer Epically Fires Back At 'Bruised Skin' Trump In Blistering Congressional Testimony

Bess Kalb, a former writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, criticized President Donald Trump during a hearing on Capitol Hill called “Silencing Dissent: The First Amendment Under Attack,” saying the president is the program's "best and worst audience" with "inexplicably bruised" and "very thin" skin.

Kalb's appearance is no accident given how much Jimmy Kimmel Live! has offended Trump's sensibilities over the years—and how he tried to pull it off the air last year.
