Welp.

In early 2017, when then-White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer took the podium to give his first (then-daily) White House press briefing, few would have suspected that in just under three years and two press secretaries later, he would be competing on Season 28 of Dancing With the Stars.

But in the cosmic joke that is 2019, that's exactly what happened.

President Donald Trump vouched for Spicer's dancing skills just as valiantly as Spicer vouched for the President's crowd sizes.

Trump tweeted a message of support for Spicer ahead of Monday night's episode, but after nearly eight weeks on the hit reality show, Spicer was eliminated from the competition, lasting about a quarter of his time as White House Press Secretary.

Then, Trump's tweet urging his supporters to vote for Spicer suddenly disappeared.

It was soon replaced with a fond farewell.

Despite consistently low scores from the show's judges, Spicer remained in the running all the way to semifinals, presumably due to Trump supporters eager to own the libs by perpetuating his presence on television.

This was in no small part due to Trump's weekly tweets in support of his former employee, which the President still found time to post amidst ongoing trade talks with China, impending impeachment, a $2 million dollar fine for charity fraud, unrest in Northern Syria, more tweets, and other distractions from reality television imposed by the Oath of Office.

As many pointed out, Trump's endorsement of Spicer this week worked about as well as last week's endorsement of Matt Bevin for Governor of Kentucky.

To Spicer's credit, he did give the country some memorable moments.

Maybe he'll reunite with his old boss on The Apprentice in a few years.

Trump Adviser's Chess Analogy After Trump's Meeting With Canadian Prime Minister Is Epic Self-Own

President Donald Trump's adviser Stephen Miller was mocked online after he used a chess reference to heap praise onto Trump after his Oval office meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Canadian voters returned the Liberal Party to power for a fourth consecutive term after Trump repeatedly threatened Canadian sovereignty amid an ongoing trade war. Carney made defending Canada’s sovereignty a cornerstone of his campaign, pushing back forcefully against Trump’s threats to annex the country as “the 51st state.”

People In Long-Term Relationships Explain What Love Feels Like To Them Now

While some people wax nostalgic about the "good old days" when everyone stayed married, the reality is that there were almost no options for divorced women. There were very few for widows either.

Longevity in relationships was more about necessity and no other choices than devotion. Now that divorce is easily accessible, longterm relationships are more likely to be a choice.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? And what will it take to really make our lives "pop"?

Kentucky mom Holly LaFavers found herself no closer to answering either of those questions when her eight-year-old son, Liam, accidentally placed a monumental order on Amazon and left the two of them in a very sticky situation.

Pete Hegseth Gets Brutal Grammar Lesson After Announcing New Military Policy

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth received an important grammar lesson after he proudly announced his new "Less Generals More GIs" policy in a video on social media.

Hegseth has announced a two-phase plan to cut the number of military generals and flag officers by 20%, saying the move is intended to enhance “strategic readiness and operational effectiveness.” The first phase will eliminate at least 20% of active-duty four-star officers, while the second will carry out a broader 10% reduction across the Department of Defense, tied to a restructuring of the Unified Command Plan.

Far-Right Podcaster Hit With Hilarious Reminder After Branding 'Girl Dads' As 'Super Cringe'

"Rules for thee but not for me" is basically the right-wing's entire organizing principle, but the latest example of the trend is quite an eye-roller, and it's getting Matt Walsh quite a bit of blowback.

The far-right propagandist recently laid into dads who identify themselves as "girl dads," mocking the term as "cringe" and "corny."
