If you're a fan of true crime and/or being generally terrified, you've probably heard of Netflix's new documentary Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.

30 years after his execution, the film unearths old recordings of the infamous serial killer, as well as stories from the women who managed to escape his deadly rampages.

It's a harrowing watch to say the least, and Netflix offered viewers some advice: don't watch it alone.

Viewers immediately decided to watch it alone.

When Netflix users want to watch something, they're not going to wait around for a friend!

They have to watch NOW.

By the time Netflix had posted their tweet, many had already watched alone.

For many on social media, the documentary prompted an understandable paranoia over every bump in the night.

Netflix could not stop its viewers and, at the end of the day, was just glad they were watching it at all.

Other Twitter users, however, found the documentary was not quite as frightening as Netflix made it out to be.

Others were just eager to prove they were brave enough to handle the movie solo.

For true crime fans, the documentary was very welcome regardless of its scariness factor.

Check out Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, streaming now on Netflix!
