The Duchess of Sussex shared an emotional video montage of her beagle, Guy, who she rescued from a kill shelter in 2015, on Instagram to announce his death, remarking, "You filled my life in ways you’ll never know."

Meghan Markle is grieving the loss of her beloved beagle named Guy, saying she's cried "too many tears to count" in a poignant tribute on her reactivated Instagram account.

The Duchess of Sussex said she adopted Guy from a dog rescue in Canada after he was given a "few days to live" while previously at a kill shelter in Kentucky.

"I swooped him up….and fell in love," wrote the former Suits actor.

She posted a montage video of Guy's best life highlights as a part of the family, which includes Markle's husband, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and their two children, Archie, 5, and Lilibit, 3.

In the emotional caption, Markle said Guy, whose namesake was derived from "little guy" because "he was so small and frail," was "the best guy any girl could have asked for."

She continued:

"If you followed me on instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him - and on The Tig too."
"He was with me at 'Suits,' when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort."

When Markle married into the Royal Family in 2018, Guy remained by her side, including from when she moved to the UK and endured alleged racism and media abuse at Buckingham Palace, to her and Harry stepping down from their royal duties and moving back to start a life in the U.S. in 2020.

Before moving to England, Markle said Guy "endured a terrible accident" which led veterinarians to believe the pup would "never walk again."

Thankfully, Irish TV vet Noel Fitzpatrick was convinced Guy would fully recover despite the odds, and he eventually prevailed.

Markle said she would "always be grateful to Noel and his team…at Queen West Animale Hospital in TO," along with friends and family for their support as Guy recovered.

Markle told fans they would fall in love with Guy too as he will be prominently featured in the upcoming Netflix series With Love, Meghan.

"I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss," Markle said, adding, "I think you may fall a little bit in love too."

Markle concluded her moving tribute with:

"I have cried too many tears to count - the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there."
"But they are. And that’s okay too."

She signed off with a sweet message for her late, four-legged companion, saying:

"Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know ❤️🩹
"As ever, Meghan."

While the comments are disabled on her Instagram, social media users expressed condolences for the loss of her beloved little Guy on X (formerly Twitter).

Our thoughts go out to Markle and her family for their loss.

May Guy be at peace in doggie heaven.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
