Lindsay Lohan 'Hurt And Disappointed' By Joke Aimed At Her In New 'Mean Girls' Remake

The original 'Mean Girls' star was not happy about a 'fire crotch' joke at her expense that was included in the new musical remake.

Mean Girls O.G. Lindsay Lohan has been a fixture at the premiere events for the new musical film remake of the iconic 2000s film.

But now that the film has officially opened in theaters, there's one part of the film she's not feeling celebratory about.

Lohan, who played the original main character of Cady Haron, is said to be angry about a joke in the new remake that refers to her by her regrettable 2000s nickname "fire crotch," a reference to her red hair.

The joke in question is delivered by Megan Thee Stallion, who says of the new Cady's Christmas-themed costume:

“We are going back red. Y2K fire crotch is back!”

The joke alludes to an infamous 2006 paparazzi video in which oil heir Brandon Davis, a friend of Paris HIlton's who dated Lohan briefly, referred to her supposedly red pubic hair by saying:

“Lohan’s movie bombed because she’s a fire crotch."

Davis made a number of disparaging comments about then 20-year-old Lohan, many of them of a sexual nature. He later apologized for the remarks and called Lohan "a friend."

The comments came in the context of a time in which Lohan's sexuality and body were repeatedly scrutinized and mocked in the press despite her young age, beginning with her relationship with That 70s Show actor Wilmer Valderrama, which was rumored to have begun when Lohan was underage.

Lohan began to suffer significant issues with addiction and mental health shortly thereafter.

So it's not exactly surprising she's not feeling particularly good-humored about a reference to a truly vile comment. Her representative told several outlets:

“Lindsay was very hurt and disappointed by the reference in the film."

On social media, reactions to the joke were mixed, with many siding with Lohan.

But others felt Lohan needed to lighten up about a silly reference to the original film's era.

Lohan is the only original Mean Girls cast member to appear in the remake. Tina Fey, who created and produced both films, has yet to comment on her response.

Video Of Tank Squeaking Through Sparse Crowd At Trump's Military Parade Sparks Hilarious Memes

People are cracking up after a video of a tank squeaking through a sparse crowd down Constitution Avenue on Saturday during President Donald Trump's military parade sparked commentary and memes about the controversial event.

Trump had long wanted a military showcase in the U.S.; during his first term, he expressed a desire for a military parade after witnessing a Bastille Day parade in Paris. However, the event he gave—a celebration of the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary that also coincided with his 79th birthday—was poorly organized.

Jesse Watters Blasted For Hypocrisy After Using Term He Was Previously Outraged By

Fox News personality Jesse Watters was called out for hypocrisy after he described the oustings of ABC News correspondent Terry Moran and Democratic National Committee (DNC) Vice Chair David Hogg as them having been "86'd"—just weeks after complaining about the term "86 47," which he sees as a clear call to assassinate President Donald Trump.

The term "86" means to eject, discard, or disprove of, and though it's said to have military origins, it's commonly used in restaurants when getting rid of unruly customers or when a patron has specific dietary restrictions. For example, saying "86 the mushrooms on the burger" means to prepare a burger sans mushrooms. Similarly, saying "86 the burger with mushrooms" means to not make the burger at all.
