Comic's NSFW 'Hamilton' Parody Wins Award At 'Oscars For Porn' Ceremony

If you work in the adult film industry, the Adult Video News Awards (AVN awards) are basically your Oscars. There are typical awards for "Best Director" and "Best Supporting Actor" as well as more inappropriate categories like "Most Outrageous Sex Scene." And just like the Oscars, many adult films market themselves as contenders for AVN awards before the ceremony to try and go home with a trophy. This year, one such adult film is a Hamilton porn parody written by a comedian from New York City called Hamiltoe (of course).

Hamiltoe was written by Eitan Levine, a 29-year-old NYC comedian, who lives on the upper west side and describes himself as a "weird journalist-comedian hybrid." Levine spoke to the New York Post about how, despite his Modern Orthodox upbringing in Springfield, NJ, and his time at Yeshiva University, he's incredibly proud of his invitation to this year's AVN awards:

"It's the best bragging rights of all time."

Levine, who frequently posts about his porn parody's success on social media, doesn't see why he should have to hide away his accomplishment:

"I think everyone watches porn, to be completely honest. It's a bigger red flag now if you don't watch porn. If you don't have a computer full of porn, you must have a freezer full of human feet."

Hamiltoe was produced by Wood Rocket, the porn parody studio also responsible for "Strokémon," "Assventure Time" and "Fap To The Future," but Levine didn't want to stop there. With the AVN awards approaching, the comedian decided to travel to Las Vegas to mount a "For Your Consideration" campaign to try and snag the ceremony's coveted "Clever Title of the Year" trophy.

GoFundMe

Levine started a GoFundMe to bankroll his trip to Las Vegas and help produce a video about his experiences there. On the GoFundMe page, he wrote:

"HERE IS THE SITUATION: The AVNs are next month. This is the closest I may ever come to winning an Oscar award and I don't want to 'throw away my shot.' (Get it??!!? Yeah! We're having a good time)... So I will be traveling to Las Vegas to create a "For Your Consideration" campaign (like movie studios do!) in the hopes of stirring up some pre-award show buzz for Hamiltoe. If all goes right, HOPEFULLY, this can lead to me snagging a trophy for 'Clever Title of the Year.'"

Twitter was behind Hamiltoe as much as anyone is publicly willing to be behind an adult film.

Hamiltoe began receiving lots of press from the mainstream media, including a shoutout on SNL's Weekend Update and, strangely enough, a tweet from the official Pulitzer Prize committee!

At the award's ceremony, Levine walked the red carpet in colonial garb and was beyond thrilled when his film won the AVN awards for "Clever Title of the Year" and "Best Soundtrack!" He then announced his plans to retire from the adult film industry:

"I absolutely lost it — it was the coolest thing that ever happened. I'm going to Jizney-land!"

If you're looking for a sample of the sick verses dropped in the film, do yourself a favor and give the trailer a view:

*Warning: though the trailer features no nudity, many of the lyrics are NSFW...obviously.*

The move follows Trump’s announcement last week of additional tariffs on kitchen cabinets, vanities, and other upholstered products, which will take effect October 1.

College Announcer Apologizes After Sparking Outrage With Body-Shaming Comment About Plus-Size Dance Team

In the United States, there are 107 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)—schools founded when segregation laws and racist policies kept Black men and women from higher education. The schools developed their own unique culture and customs around stepping, marching band, drum majors, and majorettes.

HBCU majorettes march with the band, dance, and have stand battles during games. The dance style and moves are unique to Black culture, but have spread beyond the HBCUs to high schools and dance schools across the country.
