Grownups Admit The Things They Still Use That Are Actually Meant For Kids

The label 5 and up or 10 and up suggests the age it is safest for a child to begin using a certain game or object but "up" has no limits. It's not 5-30, it's 5 to forever. So there is no shame in using things you used when you were younger. Sleep with that stuffed bear proudly!

More people indulge in things made aimed at kids then they admit. Redditor itsagirl123 asked the question :

What's made for kids that you like to use as an adult?

People began to confess.

Parks are for all ages.

Swings!! My guilty pleasure. I'm always that one 30 year old at the park with a smile from ear to ear on the swings. ciaobella88

We'll always love to glide faster.

I ride on the back of the grocery cart every time I go to the store.  historyholly

Well if it still works for Tom Cruise.

I slide on the tile floor in my socks every time I go in the kitchen.  lkazyellowrose

Don Ho knew about it long before us.

Bubbles. It's nice to keep a bubble wand in the car (except in winter. A frozen bubble wand does nothing) for spontaneous bubbles. A great way to cheer yourself up, I'd say.  ThisAccontIsForCats

Bugs and Daffy will always be your friend.

Childrens cartoons. I like the humor in them more. Writers doing childrens cartoons cant be dirty or crass, so the only thing they can fall back on for humor is actual clever writing. SwanSongSonata

Adolescents should start younger to build tolerance.

Pedialyte is awesome for hangovers. ScotchBender

The drink of champions.

Koolaid. So many posts in Facebook about it reminding people of being kids. Am 32 and still drink that sh*t everyday. The youngest person in my house is 30.  slwrthnu

Quik does the body good.

Chocolate milk that comes in the gallons. Its so delicious and I have no shame especially when my daughter yells at me for drinking her chocolate milk.  Iamthewind91

Kids always eat best.

Kids meals at fast food places.

The portions are much better, they're cheaper and hey, they come with a sweet toy. ITS_A_GUNDAAAM

Quarters are imperative.

Those red-topped quarter toy machines at the grocery store. I'm in the habit of always carrying change around with me in case I see a cool one. One of my bookshelves has a space on in dedicated just to the stuff I've gotten from those, from tiny plastic dinosaurs to knockoff Lego cars to those rubber yoyo ball things.

I also have a ridiculous number of these tiny squishy animals gotten from said machines; I have a coffee can just filled with them. I like to keep one or two in my pocket to squeeze for relaxin'. Freezair

Tinkerbell keeps us all young!

Kids soft-sided insulated lunchboxes. I use my daughters old Tinkerbell lunchbox and it's perfect. 2 compartments, side zippered. It's got Tinkerbell and all her friends. It makes me smile.   mostlygray

It puts the lotion in the basket.

baby soap because general soap gives me rashes all over my body.  gandhijongun

Anyway to get to the bathroom in the dark.

I bawwed when I realized there's no glow-in-the-dark magical girl pajamas for adults.  Tafutafutufufu

Testing. Testing. 1? 2?

Heh, I'm 47 and went to a store yesterday so I could get walkie-talkies so my cousin and I could talk to each other since we're on different sides of the house. He also just had knee surgery this past week, he used to be a cop so thought it would be fun for him too. Yep, so far it's been entertaining. Dexter_Jettster

We all need a taste test now and again.

Theres these spoons that are really tiny and have smily faces cut out of the handle. They are the perfect size to use as a tasting spoon and fit in my arm pockets. Besides, who takes kitchens that seriously anyways.  SanicTehHedgehoge

Somethings you can finally just afford.

I finally broke down and bought the dollhouse I wanted as a kid! Calico critters all the way. I discovered the Japanese counterpart and get fun packages from around the world. I like to recreate movie scenes and stage crime scenes with the cute little animals!
Now I am saving up for toys I loved as a child- Kenner Shimmers on eBay new in the package. So I can open them and play with them! SuperDuperBorkie

Food is forever.

Sugary cereals. I really wish Count Chocula was still sold in Canada :(   sweepingpines

Sometimes it's about necessity.

Kids electric toothbrush. I have a smaller jaw and mouth just cause Im a girl with smaller bone structure, so its easier to reach all the teeth with a smaller brush, plus they have softer bristles which are better for your tooth enamel. And the fact that I can get them with Darth Vader or Spongebob or something else fun is also a bonus.  Sexycornwitch

Rubber ducky you're the one.

For me it's rubber ducks. Multiple times I've tried to buy them in stores, a nearby woman will comment something like "Aww that's so cute! Are you going a baby shower?" Nope! forest_25
