Newsmax Ripped After Segment Attacking Biden's Dog as 'From the Junkyard' and Not 'Presidential'
Newsmax

Far-right media outlet Newsmax frequently sang the praises of former President Donald Trump, who on more than one occasion encouraged his followers to abandon the conservative Fox News network for the less critical misinformation source.

Newsmax faced threats of a lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems for constantly parroting Trump's deadly lies about the integrity of the 2020 election, absurdly claiming that the election software company switched Trump votes to favor now-President Joe Biden.

With Trump over a month out of office, the network is now scrambling to critique President Joe Biden's administration and preserve the pro-Trump narrative it's carefully crafted for its viewers.

But instead of valid criticisms, the network recently featured two historians to discuss the presentation of Biden's 12 year old German Shepherd, Champ.

Watch below.

Newsmax host Greg Kelly said:

"I love dogs, but this dog needs a bath and a comb and all kinds of love and care. I've never seen a dog in the White House like this. ... I remember lots of dogs, but not a dog who seems, I don't know, I don't know how much love and care he is getting."

After introducing the segment's guests, Kelly continued:

"This dog looks like from the junkyard, and I love that dog, but it looks like he's not been well-cared for."

One such guest, presidential historian Craig Shirley, concurred, saying:

"He looks very dirty and disheveled, very unlike a presidential dog."

In reality, Champ—at 12 years old—has surpassed the life expectancy of the average German Shepherd, indicating that there's no insufficiency when it comes to his care.

The segment was met with immediate ridicule and backlash.

Kelly has since doubled down in a series of unhinged tweets.

The effort didn't do much to help whatever credibility Kelly might have had.

Kelly has momentarily switched from slamming dogs to berating teachers, whom he called "lazy" and most of whom, he said, "stink."

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
