Rudy Accuses Justice Dept of Hacking His iCloud in 2019—and Everyone Had the Same Response

Former President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, saw his home raided this week by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)—the execution of a search warrant whose implementation was long delayed by Trump's Justice Department. The raid is believed to be an escalation in the years-long effort from Manhattan U.S. attorneys to investigate Giuliani's potentially illegal lobbying of Ukrainian officials on behalf of Trump.

Both Giuliani and his son, Andrew Giuliani, said the raid was the result of a politicized Justice Department that should disgust Americans across the country.

Rushing to offer a defense, Giuliani is now claiming the Justice Department hacked his iCloud—a virtual storage service—in 2019, and that the Department could soon begin targeting everyday Americans.

Given Giuliani's constant lies about the validity of the 2020 election and his continued salacious claims about President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, few paid heed to Giuliani's accusations.

But people did remind him that Trump was President in 2019, and that his appointee—William Barr—ran the Justice Department as Attorney General at that time.

Giuliani's implication that the Department of Justice acted menacingly by "covertly" accessing his iCloud was false.

It's unclear if the Barr's Justice Department obtained access to Giuliani's iCloud, as he says they did.

Tucker Carlson Dragged After His Conspiracy Theory Prediction About Trump's Speech Is Way Off

Former Fox News personality turned far-right podcaster Tucker Carlson was widely mocked after he made a bold prediction about what President Donald Trump would announce during his primetime address to the nation on Wednesday—namely that the U.S. would go to war with Venezuela.

But it turns out Carlson was very, very wrong. The speech was nowhere near that consequential and Trump spent the majority of it complaining about former President Joe Biden.
