Former President Donald Trump told more than 30 thousand lies over the course of his presidency, subsequently requiring others in his orbit to lie to defend him as well.

As a result, this barrage of lies didn't just illustrate a willingness to deceive supporters and critics alike, but led some to accuse the Trumposphere of denying reality altogether in service of maintaining the image of Trump as superhuman among his base.

This was particularly true in regards to Trump's energy. Pro-Trump lawmakers like Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York heaped praise upon Trump's energy, "substantive responses, ability to effectively answer rapid fire Q&A" in an ABC town hall. Far-right Fox News host Sean Hannity told Trump, "You are keeping an insane schedule, seven days a week. You really don't stop!"

Trump continues to tease the chances of a reelection bid in 2024, and some of his most valiant supporters are already attempting to quell concerns that he'd be too old for the trials of the campaign trail.

On Monday, Trump's son—Donald Trump Jr.—posted a picture of Trump, praising his resilience and joking that he got younger.

Junior said in the caption:

"There's some truth to this. He takes the stress and it fuels him, and in all fairness he took more crap than any other president times about 1000. Others can't handle it and they age 20 years overnight."

A screenshot of the post was shared by Vox reporter Aaron Rupar, and Twitter users mocked the sentiment online.

Some speculated that the photo was edited.

Trump has yet to disclose whether he'll be running in 2024.

Last week, Pope Leo criticized the war and called on the world "to reject war, especially a war which many people have said is an unjust war, which is continuing to escalate and is not resolving anything."
