Dad Mortified After Fainting On Amusement Park Ride For Children

TikToker @lewisconley93 shared video of himself enjoying a gentle swinging ride with several young kids before suddenly passing out and slumping over.

When we think of going to the fair each summer, we think of the fun rides, the many game options and prizes, and the tasty food.

Most of us don't think of potential health problems popping up like a scary figure in the haunted house or hall of mirrors.

But that possibility may be more readily on Lewis Conley Waterman's mind from now on after he fainted on a children's ride.

He was attending the fair with his family, including his toddler son, Kennedy, and he decided it would be a fun early experience for Kennedy to ride a swing-like children's ride that he was tall enough for, according to the attendant.

But the fun memory quickly became scary when Waterman fainted.

All started off well when he tried to spur his son's excitement on by clapping his hands and throwing his hands in the air.

Upon a close watch, Waterman's head could be seen starting to loll subtly, and soon after he put his hands back down on the bar.

He continued to laugh with Kennedy, who was really getting into the ride at that point, until he flopped forward over the bar.

The woman taking the video laughed at first, thinking he was joking with his son, before she stopped recording.

Waterman simply captioned the video:

"Still can't believe I passed out on a children's fair ride."

The video quickly racked up over four million views with a mixture of humor and concern, much like the kids who were on the ride with Waterman.

Some found the humor in the video and shared their own experiences with scary rides.

Others advised Waterman to seek out medical attention just in case and voiced their concerns.

Quite a few were also concerned about Kennedy being on the ride, but Waterman reassured everyone that he was tall enough.

Waterman has not shared any updates with his TikTok community about how he's been feeling since the incident, or if he's sought out any form of medical attention or treatment. His funny videos have continued to roll in, however, which is promising.

This is a great reminder that circumstances can change in the wink of an eye, so we should do all we can to enjoy the little moments, like a first fair ride with a kid that we love.

While not all changes in circumstances will require medical attention, we still shouldn't take the time we have for granted.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
