Out Gay Football Player Pays Sweet Birthday Tribute To His Boyfriend—And We Love To See It

Carl Nassib took to Instagram to wish his boyfriend Søren Dahl a happy 30th birthday.

Carl Nassib, the only out player in the NFL, celebrated his boyfriend Søren Dahl's birthday on Instagram lately. Nassib, who came out in 2021 while he was playing for the Las Vegas Raiders.

He later signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Dahl is a former Olympic swimmer.


In the post Nassib shared pictures of the two of them in various places throughout the year, following up his quiet announcement of their relationship earlier this year which featured Dahl in a jersey wearing Nassib's number.

Dahl was a member of NC State swimming while he attended the university, and then went on to swim for Denmark in the 2016 Olympics as a member of the 4x200 meters Freestyle Relay Team.

The love came from all directions, including some other high profile gay celebrities.

Nassib used his coming out in 2021 as an opportunity to donate $100k to the Trevor Project, an LGBTQ+ charity, which was matched by the NFL.

Dem Senator Had To Chase Down MAGA Colleague To Confront Him Over His Posts Mocking Minnesota Shootings

Minnesota Democratic Senator Tina Smith called out her GOP colleague, Utah Senator Mike Lee, to his face over his tweets mocking the shootings of two Democratic lawmakers in Smith's state, noting that Lee pretended to be on the phone to try to get away from her.

Smith was a friend of murdered state Representative Melissa Hortman, who was assassinated along with her husband on Saturday morning. Earlier that morning, state Senator John Hoffman and his wife were shot in their home in the next town and were hospitalized (Hoffman and his wife are expected to survive.) The shooter has since been captured and charged for the murders, firearm offenses, and stalking. Smith was on the assassin's lengthy hit list.
