A man who is legally blind was accused of "staring" at a woman while working out at the gym.

She allegedly started "screaming" at him as a result.

Pete Gustin is a social media influencer whose low vision has not stopped him from "living a life without boundaries."

Nine months ago he recounted a story about an encounter with a woman at the gym.

That YouTube video has recently gone viral.

Gustin explained:

"I'm blind. If you know what those two words mean, then you're much smarter than the girl who was screaming at me at the gym."
"I'm standing there doing a tricep pushdown exercise and since I can't see I'm just kind of staring off into space doing my thing.
"Half-way through a set I start hearing footsteps that seem like they're coming in my direction getting closer and closer."
"Until all of a sudden, this woman is right up in my face going 'I didn't come here to be stared at'. 'Ohhhh, I'm sorry, I'm blind', I say to her."

The woman dismissed what Gustin told her and continued, yelling:

"I don't care. Stop staring."

He said the woman then "stormed off" and returned with the manager.

Gustin then reached into his wallet and retrieved his Massachusetts Commission for the Blind ID card and explained once more, this time to the manager, he was blind and "wasn't staring at anybody."

The manager's response was:

"Okay, but you still can't make other gym members feel uncomfortable by looking at them."

Dumbfounded YouTubers mocked the individuals in the encounter.

In addition to doing voice-over work and being an on-screen actor, Gustin is an avid surfer, skateboarder, and wakeboarder–activities which can be seen on his Blind Surfer Pete Gustin YouTube channel with over 1.31 million subscribers and counting.

Trump Responds To Criticism For Hosting Saudi Prince By Suggesting Murdered Journalist Deserved It

President Donald Trump was harshly criticized after he pushed back against concerns about hosting Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Oval Office on Tuesday due to his involvement in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and even suggested that Khashoggi deserved it because people "didn't like" him.

Saudi Arabia had initially denied any involvement in Khashoggi’s disappearance but claimed via state media in October 2018 that he had been strangled in a fistfight with 15 men sent to confront him at the Saudi consulate in Turkey. The Kingdom blamed some of the Crown Prince’s inner circle for the murder, and several high-ranking officials were dismissed if not detained outright.
