Biden Campaign Slams Trump As 'Racist' Ahead Of Bronx Rally With Scathing New Ad

The gloves came off when Democratic President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign released a series of blistering ads targeting former Republican President Donald Trump and exposing the presumptive GOP nominee's historically bad treatment of Black people.

The ads released ahead of Trump's rally in the Bronx, New York on Thursday exposed Trump's discriminatory views against African Americans, mentioned his standing with White nationalists in the violent aftermath of the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017, and his warning of an imminent "bloodbath" if he doesn't get reelected.

A 30-second TV ad tracked Trump's well-known mistreatment of the Black community and his damaging comments on racial issues tracing back to the 1970s when the then real-estate mogul and his father were sued for refusing to rent his predominantly white apartment buildings to Black families.

A voiceover for the ad approved by Biden started with:

"Donald Trump disrespecting Black people is nothing new."

The video commercial goes on to mention Trump calling for the execution of five innocent Black and Brown teenagers, known as the Central Park Five after they were falsely convicted of sexually assaulting and beating a 28-year-old white woman in Central Park in 1989.

"It's why Trump stood with violent white supremacists, warned of a bloodbath if he loses the next election," the ad reminded viewers.

"And if he's President again vowed to be a dictator who wants revenge on his enemies."

"Now, who do you think that is?" the commercial asked viewers.

It was posted on X by the Biden Harris HQ account with the caption:

NEW AD: As Trump heads to the Bronx today, let’s remember: Trump is a lifelong racist.
From calling to execute innocent Black teenagers to standing with violent white supremacists, we all know who Trump is.

The campaign also released a radio ad depicting a solicitor for Trump's campaign going door-to-door trying to convince voters to cast their ballot for Trump because he touted himself as "The best guy ever for Black America", even better than former Democratic President Barack Obama."

A man answering the door tells the solicitor:

"Trump's the guy who told America that Obama was born in Africa, never respected him enough to even accept him as President."
"All his White supremacist friends loved that one."

The homeowner goes on to say that Trump told Americans that he wanted to be a dictator, rip up the Constitution, and warned of another "bloodbath" if he loses the election.

The bloodbath comment is another example of Trump's violent rhetoric that signaled to his MAGA supporters to incite the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol to overturn the 2020 election results.

The man also reminds the Trump supporter that the twice-impeached and federally charged former President referred to the Capitol building attackers as "heroes and patriots."

"What do you think he'd be saying if it had been Black folks who attacked the Capitol?" the man asks, adding:

"He'd call them criminals and thugs, saying they should be in jail and throw away the key."

The radio ad ends with the man slamming the door after declaring he's voting for Biden, to which the solicitor acquiesces and says, "Me too."

You can listen to the ad, titled, "Knock Knock 60s," here.

Social media users applauded the ads.

The Biden-Harris campaign told the Huffington Post that the ads “underline how a second term would be worse for Black Americans as Trump promises to enact revenge on his enemies and rule as a dictator and calls the January 6 terrorists 'heroes and patriots.'"

Melania Just Held A Bizarre Press Conference To Debunk 'False Smears' Related To Jeffrey Epstein—And Everyone Had The Same Response

First Lady Melania Trump had everyone thinking the same thing after she held a bizarre press conference on Thursday to deny that she had anything but casual ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the late disgraced financier, pedophile, sexual abuser, and sex trafficker.

Mrs. Trump publicly denied any ties to convicted sex offenders Epstein and his procurer Ghislaine Maxwell, saying claims linking her to Epstein are “lies” meant to damage her reputation. She said she met her husband, President Donald Trump at a New York City party in 1998 and did not meet Epstein until 2000, contradicting a witness statement in the Epstein files that alleges Epstein introduced the couple.

Dem Rep. Sarah McBride Perfectly Shames Nancy Mace For Her Transphobic Response To McBride's Condemnation Of Trump

Delaware Democratic Representative Sarah McBride pushed back at South Carolina Republican Representative Nancy Mace after Mace responded with transphobia to McBride's criticism of President Donald Trump's genocidal threat to kill the "whole civilization" of Iran.

Trump has insisted that God supports his war on Iran and declared—before a provisional ceasefire was announced—that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" ahead of a deadline to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges that legal scholars and world leaders have said would constitute war crimes.

Comedian Explains How Millennials' Midlife Crises Are Different From Past Generations—And He's Spot On

Don't make promises you cannot keep, unless your goal is to hurt someone.

Millennials know that practically better than anyone. They were fed a long and impassioned series of advice, hyper-focused on the importance of getting a college degree in order to find a good job. They were also force-fed traditionalist ideals of getting married, having kids, and buying a nice house with the money they'd be making from that great job, of course.
