Stephanie Denaro drew a lot of negative attention to herself and her children last week after she became the subject of a now-viral video.

Denaro, now nicknamed "Bagel Karen," appeared at the Davidovich Bakery in New York City last week to purchase some bagels. But she refused to put on a mask.

The employee at the cash register stated they would not be serving her if she refused to wear a mask.

Security appeared and stated Denaro would need to leave if the staff was not serving her.

Denaro lashed out and said:

"Why? Because he's a bitch-a** [n-word]?"

You can watch the video here:

WARNING: language and racial slurs

Also at the end of the video, Denaro argued she could use any language she wanted, because her husband is Black and because she hears that type of language all the time.

Obviously, that's not how it works.

Denaro received extensive media attention, as well as social media comments since this incident.

Many were worried about her biracial children and their witnessing of her racist behavior.

Now the father of her four children, Durvan Dawes, spoke out against her actions.

Despite Denaro's comments claiming she was surrounded with this language all the time, that wasn't the case. And her use of the language definitely wasn't supported by the father of her children.

You can watch Dawes' interview with TMZ here:

Dawes stated in his interview with TMZ:

"She's responsible for her actions and she's damag[ing] our children by race-spitting poison out of her mouth."
"I have a problem with everybody using that form of language… Even my own children."
"[She needs to receive] proper mental care and be monitored effectively."

Twitter was very interested in seeing the children move to another household, as well.

Denaro seems to need to learn what it means to be racist and to use racist language. Who you're dating, married to or who your children are doesn't change the act.

It just manages to make it worse.
