Primary School Art Teacher Hits Back After Being Criticized On Instagram For Her Outfit Choices

Primary School Art Teacher Hits Back After Being Criticized On Instagram For Her Outfit Choices

A primary school teacher from New Jersey has been harassed online by trolls who say her attire and Instagram account are "inappropriate."

The woman has almost a million followers on social media under the handle @toyboxdollz.

She posts edited pictures from inside and outside the classroom while always obscuring the children's identities.

The teacher responded to her critics in a video on Instagram Live, saying, among other things:

"I teach babies, and there are no haters in the classroom thinking of that."

The video is below.

Reactions were mixed, but most were in support of the teacher.

Some focused on the double standards applied to women and how impossible—with this woman's body type—it would be to dress in any outfit at all and have it not be read by others as provocative.

It's just her body and she's put clothes on it to go to work.

People were salty about the "mothers" who allegedly criticized the teacher.

Others called out fathers.

The teacher addressed this commentary on her Instagram posts.

She defended women as a whole, addressing those who commented on the commenters:

"The majority of people that I see defending me on comments are women."

And a fellow teacher noted the impossible standards for women teachers.

Regardless of any controversy, the teacher is excited to go back to school soon.

She said she's going to pick up some good activities for her new kindergarteners. Many have never been to school before and she's excited to teach them art.

Working Mom Gets Emotional After Realizing She's Missing All Her Baby's Major Milestones

Anyone who has raised children or is regularly around children can attest that they truly do grow up so fast.

That's what makes it so hard for new parents to go back to work after having a baby. It's not necessarily balancing the new responsibilities of parenthood with their preexisting responsibilities as a working adult, in an office and at home. It's the fact that they're going to miss out on some of the first moments and milestones with their children, which they can't ever get back.

Guy Sparks Debate After Preventing Seats In Front Of Him From Reclining For Entire 8-Hour Overnight Flight

We can all agree that flying can be long, frustrating, and uncomfortable, and most of us would love to experience a little more comfort when we fly. But preventing other people from seeking comfort likely isn't the way to go about it.

TikToker @heyimgazza was surprised when he witnessed a fellow passenger's questionable behavior and pressed the record button, capturing a man on camera who sat with his arms up for eight hours, hands pressed against the seats in front of him to prevent three passengers from reclining their seats.
