Woman Discovers Something Moving In Her Food At Chili's–And TikTok Is Grossed All The Way Out

Whenever we go out to a restaurant, we're expecting to go out for a nice evening, good food and some laughs.

None of us go out looking to find something unexpected in our food.

But Hannah, @hannahbbymama on TikTok, allegedly made a discovery in her meal at Chili's that made TikTok's collective skin crawl.

Hannah captioned the video:

"Chili's Grill & Bar, explain."

In an overlay message on the video, Hannah also wrote:

"Maggots in our food, Chili's??"

One TikToker thought the video was faked, by being played backward, or that the visual was simply cheese melting.

Hannah posted the same video again but with its original audio to prove that the video was real.

She explained in an overlay message on the video:

"If you listen, you obviously can hear [the video] is not edited."
"I was already on my phone, done eating, and I looked down because my boyfriend wasn't eating, to see that..."
"Everyone is eating because I don't think they believed me until the waitress came and saw it, as well."
"As you can hear at the end, she comes and asks if we need more time, or if we're finished."

Needless to say, Tiktok was thoroughly grossed out.

A few didn't help the situation by pointing out that this was hardly an isolated incident.

After calling out the restaurant chain on social media, a representative from Chili's replied in the comments of Hannah's original video.

But some past employees of the restaurant chain confessed this was a recurring issue. For many of these claims, Hannah tagged the restaurant chain, as well.

Hannah shared a few updates about what the restaurant was doing about the incident.

"There was a guest manager there at the time according to our waitress, and they didn't know what to do, so our meal was free."
"At the time we saw it, we were already about to receive our check and leave, so we got stuck another 30 minutes."
"I'd like to see all health departments actually caring and checking what's going on back there."

This sort of incident is truly what nightmares are made of. Hopefully, Hannah calling the restaurant out, as well as former employees chiming in, will encourage the restaurant chain to improve what they have going on back in the kitchen.

Realistically, though this was specifically targeted at Chili's Grill & Bar, this is something that every restaurant, chain or not, should remain conscientious of. This isn't a story any restaurant guest should have to tell, no matter where they dine.

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed to reporters this week that officials in his administration suddenly found $30 billion they "never knew existed"—located on what Trump referred to as the "tariff shelf."

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong. But most of us pine for this for a little while, realize it's all a fairy tale, and push past it to better things and new love.

TikToker Sparks Debate After Calling Out Driver's Extremely Bright Headlights For Blinding Her

Whether we are drivers or passengers, we've all experienced that annoying, possibly painful moment of feeling like we're being blinded by a fellow driver whose headlights are far too bright for a standard car on a standard road.

But while most of us complain about it to ourselves and leave it at that, TikToker Alexa McNee stepped up for all of us and called it out.
