Tallulah Willis Calls Out Perez Hilton For Mocking Her Looks As Child And Nearly Driving Her To Suicide
Oct 14, 2025
There was a certain tone in celebrity tabloids that did not arise, but did flourish, in 2000s and 2010s internet rags. The tone was catty, invasive, and sometimes downright conspiratorial.
Much of that tone and its refinement and copycats can be traced to one blogger in particular: Perez Hilton. As society has moved on and many of his old targets have come into their own power or grown up to be adults, the blowback from all the things he said has been slow but steady.
For example, this week Tallulah Willis, the youngest daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, used the power of social media to talk directly to the public to discuss how Hilton's mockery made her actually suicidal in the past.
Willis inherited much of her father's well-known facial structure, because that is how genetics work. In the past, Hilton mocked her for her chin, a writing decision that reverberated through the tabloids and was often repeated.
Now an adult, Willis posed a set of photos on Instagram comparing pictures of herself and her father and expressed pride in her facial features.
"The face, the smile, dare I say it the chin (hey @perez remember when you bullied a 13 year old for money?) that made me want to end it all, is now the most precious gift I could be bestowed with. I used to not be able to say the word chin out loud."
She was not the only one to take it on the proverbial chin.
Other daughters of famous parents shared their own stories, including Ireland Baldwin (dad actor Alec Baldwin) and Sailor Brinkley Cook (mom model Christie Brinkley).

But Willis is an adult now, and seemed to be truly grateful for sharing her dad's features.
"!! My Lordy! if I am NOT this man’s child 💛💛 Wow this is making me so full and emotional this early Wednesday morning."
Her father, actor Bruce Willis, has retired from acting. He was first diagnosed with aphasia in 2022, then with frontotemporal dementia in 2024. There is no cure for that type of dementia, so it is especially poignant that Tallulah Willis has chosen to publicly celebrate her connection to him, even the ones that were mocked in the past.
Many commenters shared that sentiment.

They said it was a blessing and a gift to be able to see your parents in yourself, especially after they are gone.

Willis went further the same day with a whole separate post about how she had been overly sexualized as a child, and the steps that her mom Demi Moore tried to go through at the time to receive justice from Hilton and his ilk.
Her call-out of Perez Hilton was particularly noted by commenters.

Because really, Hilton often wrote about the children of celebrities, finding them fair game for gossip even as they were actual minors.

Probably drawn by the hundreds of people tagging him in comments, or the media flurry around Willis' post, Hilton himself turned up in the comments on her post.
Not to make a public apology, but to ask her to read a private message.

Many found irony in Hilton making fun of people's appearances.

The time has come, albeit a bit late, for Hilton's past gossip mongering to catch up with him.

Many commenters pointed out how much Willis inherited from her dad.

Tallulah Willis is an actor and clothing brand designer.

Taylor Swift Sparks Debate With Blunt Response To All Of Her 'Life Of A Showgirl' Haters
Oct 14, 2025
"The haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate..."
An immortal lyric from Grammy winning superstar Taylor Swift's hit song "Shake It Off."
Indeed, throughout her award winning career, the chart topping music star has amassed enough fans (or "Swifties," as they have come to be known) to break down Ticketmaster, but has also met her fair share of adversaries.
The latter group have come out in abundance with the release of her latest album, The Life of A Showgirl.
In addition to music critics decrying the album as "charmless," "mediocre," and even "a masterpiece of cringe," people wasted no time in blowing up social media with their negative reviews of Swift's twelfth studio album.
So, has Swift "shaken off" all the hate The Life Of A Showgirl has received?
No she has not.
In fact, as she said during a recent interview with Zane Lowe for Apple News, Swift is almost relishing all the negative attention her latest album has received.
@zanelowe ‘I welcome the chaos’. Caught up with Taylor to chat all things #TheLifeofaShowgirl. Out now. #taylorswift #tloas #newmusic #zaneloweinterview
Lowe asked Swift, point blank, how she handled all the widespread attention her new album received only days after its release, leading Swift to confidently declare that she "welcome[d] the chaos."
Swift proudly revealed that she possessed the "all press is good press" mentality:
"The rule of showbusiness is: If it's the first week of my album release and you are saying either my name or my album title, you're helping."
Additionally, the pop icon also emphasized that art is subjective, and no one should be called out or criticized for their opinions:
"I have a lot of respect for people's subjective opinions on art."
"I'm not the art police."
"Everybody is allowed to feel exactly how they want."
"What our goal is as entertainers is to be a mirror."
"Often times an album is a really, really wild way to look at yourself."
"Right?"
"What you're going through in your life is going to affect whether you relate to the music that I'm putting out at any given moment."
Swift also pointed out that she's no stranger to her albums getting a polarizing reception from fans and critics alike, but over the course of time, people's opinions of her albums have changed:
"What I often love seeing my fans say is, 'I used to be someone who didn't, like, relate to 'Reputation' and now that I've been through some other things in my life, that's my favorite album.'"
"Literally me, by the way."
"Or, 'I used to be a, like, 'Fearless' girlie; now I'm obsessed with 'Evermore.'"
"We're doing this thing for keeps."
"Like, I have such an eye on legacy when I'm making my music."
"I know what I made."
"I know I adore it."
"And I know that, like, on the theme of what the showgirl is, all of this is part of it."
As the interview began to make the rounds on social media, Swifties and non-Swifties alike were impressed by Swift's classy, and dignified stance on all the attention, good and bad, that The Life Of A Showgirl has received.
As one might expect, however, not everyone was sold on Swift's defense, with many seeing an opportunity to take another jab.
Taylor Swift is one of those celebrities that will illicit an equal amount of glee and groans at the very mention of her name.
However, as Oscar Wilde once so deftly put it, "the only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about..."

Steve Martin Shares Hilariously Poignant Tributes To Beloved Late Costar Diane Keaton
Oct 14, 2025
On October 11, 2025, Father of the Bride's Diane Keaton passed away at the age of 79, survived by her adopted children, Dexter and Duke.
Keaton broke into the entertainment business in the 1970s, first as Diane Hall, but since there was already a Diane Hall in the business, she reintroduced herself, using her mother's maiden name, as Diane Keaton.
Prior to changing her name from Hall to Keaton, she made waves with her performance in Annie Hall. Then after switching to Keaton, she went on to be a well-known and incredibly successful actress, starring in The Godfather trilogy, The First Wives Club with Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn, Father of the Bride with Steve Martin, and many more.
Since her passing, fans and celebrities everywhere have shared tributes to her memory, but a particularly touching pair of tributes came from none other than her Father of the Bride co-star, Steve Martin.
True to Martin's nature, he first offered a tribute to Keaton with a humorous twist.
Steve Martin's best friend is, not so secretly, Martin Short, who also costarred in Father of the Bride as Franck Eggelhoffer, who helped plan the wedding and other important events in the two films.
Though Keaton and Martin were obviously friends, she was also friends with Short, as well, and the three were not shy about joking with one another.
During an interview with Interview Magazine in 2021, Short asked Keaton:
"Who's sexier, me or Steve Martin?"
Keaton quipped:
"I mean, you're both idiots."
As his first tribute to her, Steve Martin shared a screenshot of this exchange.
Later, Martin made his admiration for Keaton and her career much clearer in a second tribute post, which clarified just how long they had known each other.
To honor Keaton, he shared a playbill for Annie Hall, which showed Diane Keaton (as Diane Hall) as the lead, while Martin was a stagehand.
You can see that post here:
Fans of Keaton were touched by Martin's tributes.

Diane Keaton was a powerhouse in the industry and will be deeply missed.
And we often don't realize how much someone meant to a person until they share a decades-old throwback, which makes honoring their memory all the more important.

Trump Accuses 'Time' Magazine Of Using Worst Photo Of Him 'Of All Time' For Gaza Peace Deal Cover
Oct 14, 2025
President Donald Trump accused Time magazine of using a bad photo of him for their cover celebrating his brokered peace deal in Gaza, saying that while the publication "wrote a relatively good story about me," the picture chosen for the magazine cover "may be the Worst of All Time."
The cover features Trump gazing upward, illuminated by sunlight, with the headline “His Triumph” underneath. The accompanying story hails the peace agreement as “a signature achievement” and “a strategic turning point for the Middle East.”
You can see it below.
But Trump was not happy, taking to Truth Social to write the following angry message:
“Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time. They 'disappeared' my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird!"
"I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?”
You can see his post below.

Many have called out Trump's latest self-centered behavior.
Trump called the Gaza deal "the historic dawn of a new Middle East" in remarks to the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, adding that this is "not only the end of a war, this is the end of the age of terror and death."
Trump also traveled to Egypt, where dozens of world leaders awaited him for what was billed as a “peace summit.” But neither Israel nor Hamas took part. Although the White House released what appeared to be a joint statement from the countries in attendance, the document contained no binding commitments or specific actions.
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the release of hostages while pointedly declining to say whether Israel would resume hostilities if Hamas refused to disarm or withdraw. Hamas, for its part, never accepted that provision of Trump’s 20-point plan.
Trump also offered little on what rebuilding Gaza might entail, the fate of the Palestinian people, or the trade-offs between establishing a Palestinian state and pursuing alternative arrangements.

Chris Colfer Offers Hilarious Mic Drop Response After He's Asked To Confirm If Lea Michele Can Read
Oct 14, 2025
If you've been anywhere near the internet the last few years you've surely heard the rumor that controversial Glee alum and Broadway star Lea Michele can't read.
Well, her Glee costar Chris Colfer has finally weighed in on the topic, and his response was one for the ages.
Colfer was speaking at the University of California, Berkeley about his experiences in the entertainment industry and as an author when an audience member asked the question everyone was thinking about.
"Can you confirm or deny if Lea Michele is literate?" As ever, Colfer was instantly ready with a perfect one-liner.
Amid laughter in the audience, Colfer deadpanned:
"Well as a literacy advocate, it's never too late."
Nailed it.
Colfer then went on to joke about his own dyslexia, saying he actually "can't read for sh*t." But, he noted, he doesn't get the blowback about it on social media that Michele does.
He then confirmed that Michele is in fact "very literate" and that she was "reading all the time" on set. Of course whether he meant "reading" literally or in the LGBTQ+ slang sense is anyone's guess.
Colfer has rarely shied away from giving a hot take on Michele, especially whenever the allegations about her bullying of costars and racist behavior on the Glee set come up.
And on social media people were loving Colfer's pithy response to the question about Michele.
Colfer also dug deep into his own experiences on the Glee set, talking about what a relief it was to play an out-of-the-closet teen on TV.
He said:
“It was terrifying … Being openly gay in high school was not safe..." (It was) one of the best experiences of my life, being a queer person on television."
"It was interesting because sometimes (Kurt) would face more than me and sometimes I would advance more than him."
Colfer's book series The Land of Stories was recently acquired by Warner Bros. for a film adaptation. No word on whether Michele has read them, however.
