Beyoncé fans thought they were getting a special treat on Thursday when it was discovered two surprise albums were leaked, but the thrill was short lived.

Around 20 tracks appeared on Spotify and Apple Music under the name Queen Carter. Sadly, fans found out quick the songs were old demos and b-sides. The two albums were named Back Up, Rewind and Have Your Way. Neither of the albums showed up on Jay-Z's Tidal.

People are still not sure if Beyoncé released the music. Her people were contacted but did not respond to ABC News for comment.

Folks were not happy leak, not leak, hoax.

Others were nervous but couldn't fight temptation to listen anyway.

Others were less than impressed with the songs.
