Trans TikToker's Grandpa Swapping Out Pre-Transition Pic From His Family Photo Display Is Everything

Trans TikToker's Grandpa Swapping Out Pre-Transition Pic From His Family Photo Display Is Everything

Nico Cazorla is a 20 year old trans man from Spain who has been documenting his transition journey on TikTok.

His videos chronicle the journey from multiple angles. Nico talks to his audience about physical changes, mental and emotional changes, etc. but the videos that really seem to have caught people's attention are the ones that showcase his family dynamic.

His recent video is no different.

In it, we meet Nico's grandpa, who is happily updating photos in the family photo display. He's not adding a new baby or wedding pic. Instead, he's taking out pre-transition photos of Nico and replacing them with updated ones.

And yes, TikTok is absolutely crying about it.

For Nico, the decision to post more of his family life, specifically with older generations, was a purposeful one.

He knows other trans youth worry about coming out and being rejected by their family, or think older folks won't be able to get it right. He also knows his family is proof that isn't always true.

There can be love and acceptance from your elders.

“I posted this one specifically because a lot of trans youth are scared about what their family members will think or do when they come out. I was certainly worried about that, too. I posted the video to show that it isn’t a generational issue—that being old isn’t an excuse to be unsupportive of family you are supposed to love.”
“It’s reasonable that people mess up your pronouns or accidentally deadname you when you come out, but he didn’t have any issue. He has never flinched once. As an older person he is setting an example for the rest of the world. It means a lot to me.”
"He also writes notes with my name all over the house so that my grandma with Alzheimer’s is reminded for when she forgets.”

And not just for Nico. Others shared their experiences, too!

Guy Admits His Ignorance After Girlfriend Educates Him On What Really Happens During Menstruation—And He's Horrified

Women's health should be much more common knowledge than it is, but many subjects related to women—especially menstruation, pregnancy, and childbirth—are still considered pretty "taboo" subjects in public spaces, in shared educational spaces, and, of course, among men.

That's why there are so many men like TikToker @connortalkslol who only start finding out what menstruation really is and what the cycle entails when they go looking for the information themselves.

Fed-Up Woman Tearfully Asks For Advice After Neighbor Refuses To Stop Dog From Killing Her Chickens

Having a homestead isn't all cozy videos, cuddly chickens, and freshly baked bread. It comes with hard decisions about animal health and protection, even if that means discussing another animal's life.
