People Explain Which Groups They're In The Top 1% Of

Tragically, I was not born with millions of dollars and have had to work like the majority of you. In a past life, I probably was independently wealthy, but sadly, I woke up in this one and have had to make do writing articles that people actually read on the internet. (So I guess it's not all bad.)

People shared their experiences after Redditor NoWasExpected asked the online community,

"What are you in the 1% of?"

"I am the seventh..."

"I am the seventh generation in my family with the same name. At the end of my name I legally have a VII."

LongLifeguard418

The family history behind this is bound to be interesting.

"I heard completely fine..."

"I figured I have to be in the top 1% of deaf guitar players worldwide. I heard completely fine for like 25 years and spent 19 years of that to practise guitar playing. Been legally deaf for 3 years now and still can play well (muscle memory). I kinda want to start a band called Deaf Metal or something."

TacticalGoatse

There's a film called Sound of Metal that sounds like it's right up your alley.

"Probably less..."

"Probably less than 1%, but I'm sucrose and fructose intolerant. No fruit, candy, ice cream, even some veggies for me."

commander-crook

"I am allergic..."

"I am allergic to temperature extremes. Taking a hot shower or touching an ice cube will give me hives."

Vilanelle12

"Not that I've looked it up..."

"Not that I've looked it up, but I've run over a fish in my car. Whenever I tell the story, no one has heard anything like it."

fellatiohno

Wait... wait... what?

That sounds like one unlucky fish.

"I am actually..."

"Spades. I am actually in the top .06% and used to be #1 out of 43,000 players.

So I'm like one of the top billionaires in the world but in spades skills… so that earns me about uh… $0.00."

WW_III_ANGRY

"A septum separates my uterus..."

"I think it's like 0.1–0.5% of women or something but I have a double uterus. Medically called a didelphys uterus. A septum separates my uterus which kinda made them form into two separate ones and the septum continues down into the vagina so I also have a left and right side. NOT fun to deal with but I'm too scared to get the surgery for it."

Women's health issues deserve more visibility and traction, so it is fascinating to hear about this. Thank you for sharing.

"I was born..."

"I was born with a cardiac rhythm disorder. Normal heart rate for a newborn is like 130 per minute, mine was like 30. I heard from my mother my case was so rare that several cardiologists from all over the country ditched their conferences to fly to the hospital I was in and to see how to fit a pacemaker into a newborn."

Kenalskii

"I was in the first 1%..."

"I was in the first 1% to watch "What Does the Fox Say?" on youtube.

Youtube sent me an email telling me so."

GettingFreki

Ah, yes.

Back when YouTube wasn't as toxic. Those were the days.

"I had a life-threatening reaction..."

"I had a life-threatening reaction to a common prescription drug. It literally caused huge patches of my skin to fall off and my internal organs to begin liquefying. This reaction is so rare that they don't even have to list it as a potential side effect (six cases have occurred with over ten million people taking this drug). I don't like to name the drug because the problem was with my body, not the medicine itself. I don't want to scare people away from a lifesaving drug that isn't to blame for what happened. I'm fully recovered now, by the way."

Don't ever think you aren't special––you most certainly are.

But seriously, if someone could just give me a few million dollars... I wouldn't complain. Would be kind of nice to be in the 1% of that.

Lindsey Graham Just Shared His Mind-Numbing Idea For Renaming The Nobel Peace Prize After Trump—And The Delusion Is Off The Charts

South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham was criticized for offering fawning praise for President Donald Trump during a Fox News appearance in which he suggested the Nobel Peace Prize should be renamed the "Trump Prize" in the president's honor.

Graham made the comment while discussing Trump’s push for additional Middle Eastern countries to join the Abraham Accords as part of broader efforts to end the war with Iran. Graham argued that, if Trump succeeds in expanding the accords and securing a wider regional peace deal, the Nobel Peace Prize should effectively become the “Trump Prize.”

YouTuber Goes Viral With Pointed Reminder For Dems After Jesse Watters Mocks James Talarico For Looking 'Prepubescent'

YouTuber and atheist influencer Hemant Mehta shared a powerful reminder for Democrats who fear a minority candidate can't be elected president after Fox News host Jesse Watters mocked Texas Senate nominee James Talarico, referring to him as "prepubescent" and questioning his masculinity on the air.

President Donald Trump has described Talarico as “a weird—a weird—candidate,” a line that was quickly incorporated into an advertisement from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who argued that that Talarico is unfit to represent Texans partly because of his supposed veganism.
