Anyone who grew up in the 90s or early 2000s has, at the very least, heard of Tony Hawk, pro skateboarder and inspiration for the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video game series. The movie Space Jam is also likely a fond childhood memory.

For anyone unfamiliar with Space Jam, it stars Michael Jordan and the Looney Toons, who have to compete against a team of invading alien basketball players to thwart their evil plans. It featured a clever combination of live-action and animation that was practically unheard of when it was released.

Recently, Tony Hawk revealed on Twitter that he was in talks with Warner Brothers about a film to be called Skate Jam, back in 2003. It would have featured Hawk and the Looney Toons in a similar story concept as Space Jam.

Unfortunately, Warner Bros' Looney Toons movie Back In Action was a box office flop at nearly the same time they approached Hawk, so the project was shelved without ever being made.

Fans on Twitter immediately showed a keen interest in the movie, some even calling for it to be made immediately.

Several people expressed regret that they will never be able to see this masterpiece of Millennial nostalgia.

Given Hollywood's recent penchant for rebooting familiar franchises, maybe there's still hope? There is definitely a market of nostalgia-seeking skater and gamer kids who would jump at the chance to relive this portion of their adolescence.

Texas MAGA Republican Senator Rafael "Ted" Cruz raised eyebrows when he attacked Georgia QAnon/MAGA Republican Representative and conspiracy theorist Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) for being antisemitic.

MTG has promoted some antisemitic conspiracy theories in the past, like Jewish space lasers that control the weather or start wildfires, but this time people are calling Cruz out for reaching in an attempt to discredit the Georgia Republican and protect Trump from what's being concealed in FBI, Department of Justice, and court records relating to the indictment of Jeffrey Epstein on charges of sex trafficking of minors.
