Texas Woman On Tractor Leads Cops On Bizarre Chase After They Wouldn't Let Her Enter July 4th Parade

Texas Woman On Tractor Leads Cops On Bizarre Chase After They Wouldn't Let Her Enter July 4th Parade

A 60-year-old woman in Texas faces charges after leading Rockwall Police on a chase where she sped away from them in her tractor.

Laurie Bostic of Rockwall, Texas, outran three officers on her tractor while also being pursued by a squad car. Apparently, she was incensed when officers told her she and her tractor were not welcome into a local 4th of July parade.

A second video shows Bostic being arrested and placed in the squad car.

Bostic was then taken into custody and charged with evading arrest, a 3rd-degree felony.

She is also facing misdemeanor charges of interfering with a processional, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.

Folks were quick to comment on the discrepancy they saw between how this woman was treated, and how a similar interaction might have been handled by the police if the perpetrator was a black woman.

While this video is very entertaining, most folks reacted to its hidden implication that a white woman on a tractor would receive nothing more than a slap on the wrist. That same interaction would not have gone well otherwise.

But it is good to know that once can outrun the cops on a tractor.

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Dunks On Trump For Hosting The Kennedy Center Honors

California Governor Gavin Newsom trolled President Donald Trump by sharing an AI-generated photo of himself accepting the inaugural—and not real—"Kennedy Center peace prize" from Trump.

The photo accompanied a post in which Newsom mocked not just Trump but also Ric Grenell, the Kennedy Center's president, whom Newsom referred to as a "janitor" in a post that—like many of Newsom's past posts—is written in a style not unlike the rants Trump publishes on Truth Social.
