After Reynolds shared an image of Deadpool recreating Swift's 'Evermore' album cover, fans are once again convinced that she'll appear in the upcoming sequel.

Rumors of singer Taylor Swift making a surprise cameo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have the makings of Swifties' wildest dreams.

Fans also suspected that Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds may know something about the circulating fan theory when he recreated Swift's pose from the cover of her 2020 Evermore album as his Marvel character ahead of his latest MCU film, Deadpool & Wolverine.

The ninth studio album cover art for Evermore featured Swift standing contemplatively in a forest with her back to the camera, her braided hair laying against her autumn flannel coat.

The Evermore album cover can be seen to the left in the artwork montage shared by Pop Crave below.

Reynolds duplicated her pose on his Instagram story but dressed as Deadpool, with his signature samurai katanas named "Bea" and "Arthur" cross-sheathed behind him.

The image was accompanied by the album's titular track, a duet with indie music artist Bon Iver, further indicating Reynolds' pose wasn't a random one.

Here is a juxtaposed configuration featuring the Evermore cover and Deadpool's not-so-subtle imitation of it.

In Swiftian and Marvel lore, nothing is coincidental, as both have been known for dropping numerous Easter eggs in the past to tease fans.

In 2022, Reynolds—who with his wife, Gossip Girl actor Blake Lively, are close friends with Swift—told Entertainment Tonight he was game for having Swift featured in a Deadpool movie.

“Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius," he said, addressing the rumor.

His invitation wouldn't have been a stretch.

Swift's All Too Well: The Short Film music video that she wrote and directed in 2021—based on her re-recorded ten-minute opus expanded from the original 2012 song of the same name—was filmed in Reynolds and Lively's home in the rural Pound Ridge neighborhood of New York State.

The filming location only fueled the rumor Swift will appear in Deadpool, which Reynolds quickly shot down and joked:

“If we shoot the next Deadpool film in our house, then that would be that location."

Another major Easter egg was revealed when Swift used the names of the Hollywood couple's three children, James, Inez, and Betty, in trilogy songs from her 2020 surprise album Folklore.

Reynolds also made a cameo in the singer/songwriter's pro-LGBTQ+ anthem "You Need To Calm Down" from her 2019 album, Lover.

Hugh Jackman, who plays the iconic X-Men character Wolverine, was even spotted with Swift, Reynolds, and Lively last October at MetLife Stadium to watch her beau Travis Kelce's team, the Kansas City Chiefs, take on the New York Jets.

After Reynolds' cheeky nod to Evermore, fans were even more convinced the "Anti-Hero" singer may appear in the upcoming superhero sequel to Deadpool and Deadpool 2.

Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy was evasive about the fan speculation when asked about it at CinemaCon in April.

Not wanting to spoil potential surprises, Levy responded to E.T.'s question about the theorized cameo with this excitable response.

"You know I can’t answer. All of America knows I can’t answer that," he said, adding:

"That is hardly confirmed nor denied in this interview."
"The proliferation of rumors about who is and isn’t in this movie–it’s fabulous. No one will ever know the truth until July 26.”

So, that's definitely not a hard "No" then, Shawn?

Moviegoers will have to wait until Deadpool & Wolverine is released on July 26 to see if the Marvel and Taylor Swift crossover happens.

Or maybe it was all just folklore.

The White House Is Getting Dragged Hard After Bragging About Trump's 'Perfect' Physical

Following President Donald Trump's latest physical examination, the White House was called out for using its official X account to gloat about his "perfect bill of health."

Trump, who turns 80 next month, said on social media yesterday that “everything checked out PERFECTLY” following the fourth publicly-disclosed medical examination of his second term. It was not immediately clear whether the White House would release detailed findings from the president’s physician to back up the claim or specify what tests were included.
