Woman's 'Price Is Right' Showcase Overbid Goes Down As One Of The Most Brutal We've Ever Seen

Woman's 'Price Is Right' Showcase Overbid Goes Down As One Of The Most Brutal We've Ever Seen
CBS

If you've ever had a nightmare about face-planting on national television while appearing on The Price Is Right, consider this your trigger warning.

Because that's precisely what a woman named Jennifer did during a recent stint on the iconic game show. Jennifer made it all the way to the Showcase Showdown only to overbid—and lose the game—by a heartbreaking margin.

No, not a mere thousand dollars.

No, not even a hundred dollars.

Not even ten dollars!

Try three—yes three (3)—American George Washingtons.

Truly the stuff of nightmares.

youtu.be

As if that weren't bad enough, Jennifer was perfectly situated to win the whole dang thing.

In case you've forgotten the rules of the classic game, the Showcase Showdown is the "final boss" of The Price Is Right, if you will. Two contestants are presented with two different prize packages, often one way better than the other.

After being presented with their prize package, whoever has the most money can either pass their prize package onto the other contestant or keep it for themselves by guessing how much it costs. Whoever guesses the closest to the actual price without going over wins.

Now, it may sound like a long shot, until you consider the fact that Jennifer's opponent had underbid by more than $6000—way, way off.

So this was Jennifer's game, right? She might as well get into the Nissan Versa that was part of her package and drive off the stage.

Except for that pesky "without going over" part. Jennifer guessed the package cost $23, 294—which seems reasonable for a package that includes a car, right?

Except the cost of her package was $23, 291. She lost the whole thing for less than the cost of a Big Mac.

On Twitter, people were almost as devastated as Jennifer was.

Our thoughts are with Jennifer at this difficult time.

Trump Repeats Debunked Claim He Predicted 9/11 'A Year Before' It Happened In Bizarre Rant During Iran Remarks

President Donald Trump was called out for repeating his debunked claim that he predicted the September 11 terror attacks "a year before" they happened—all while speaking at the White House about his war with Iran.

Trump was addressing growing concerns about tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow passage at the entrance to the Persian Gulf that carries roughly 20% of the world’s oil supply. While the strait falls under international maritime law, Iran maintains substantial influence over the corridor.

MAGA Influencer Says Trump Seems 'Demonically Possessed' In Brutal Post Slamming Iran War

A 2024 study found a stronger belief in the existence of demons and adherence to a "shadow gospel" was associated with more favorable views of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump. The shadow gospel refers to versions of Christianity and conservatism conjured through anti-liberal messages with little to no basis in actual scripture.

Trump traded on the beliefs of Christian nationalist factions among his MAGA minions by calling the Democratic Party "demonic."
