If there is one thing you don't want to do when you are invited somewhere, it's to insult the people hosting you.

Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson made that mistake at the University Of Central Florida's welcome event for its students, where he performed a set and went on a profanity-laden rant in the middle of it.

The audience was filming the set on their phones, which is apparently what set Davidson off.

"Whenever somebody else comes to your f***n' town and wants to perform and is exhausted and flies all the way to the middle of f****n' nowhere to do jokes for you little privileged ***holes, don't f****n' ruin the show for people who actually wanna be here," he yells at the crowd.

"That's why the world is gonna end in 25 years, because you're all f****n' r***rded."

As the audience boos, he says: "Yeah, I meant it that way, idiots. You should f****n' grow up."

You can watch the video below.

Warning: the following video contains graphic language, including an ableist slur:

The University Of Central Florida was not amused.

"Mr. Davidson's abusive language, particularly his use of a derogatory slur, is contrary to the University of Central Florida's values of inclusion and respect for all," said a spokesperson for the University to BuzzFeed News.

"It's disappointing that his rant spoiled an event that was meant to welcome students back for the fall semester."

The Twitterverse was likewise unamused by Davidson's poor judgement.

But others took a more positive spin on the situation:

Davidson has been through a lot in the past year, including an engagement and breakup with Ariana Grande, a short-lived relationship with Kate Beckinsale, and several mental health trials and tribulations.

But still, people were not amused.

Neither Davidson nor his representatives have yet to comment as of the time of publication.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
