The comedian took it all in stride with his sweet message to fans after watching 'buddies' Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan both win Oscars on Sunday.

Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel cracked a joke at the beginning of Sunday night's awards show at the expense of Pauly Shore.

But have no fear—Shore was a good sport about it.

In his introductory bit, Kimmel quipped that two actors—Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan—were in Shore's 1992 flick Encino Man together.

Fraser and Quan were both nominated for an Oscar.

Kimmel then dragged Shore into the mix—mentioning one of his more poorly-received films to boot.

"What an incredible night this must be for the two of you, and what a very difficult night for Pauly Shore."
"Maybe it's time to reboot 'Bio-Dome'."

But the Son in Law actor had a good sense of humor about it all.

Shore posted Kimmel's jab to Twitter and Instagram along with a heartfelt note penned to his former costars.

He wrote:

"I don't know if you guys saw the Academy Awards last night, but Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at me in the monologue. I loved it."
"But what I REALLY loved is that my old buddies from back in the day, Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan, took home the Oscars!"

Shore finished:

"Never quit on your dreams."

You can see his tweet along with Kimmel's monologue below.

People on Twitter loved the actor's kind words and encouragement.

Many expressed their love for Shore's films.

And, of course, everyone is waiting for Shore's rebirth to complete the Encino Man trio Renaissance.

Fraser, who played caveman Link in Encino Man, took home the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in The Whale. Quan, who played Kim in the 1992 comedy, garnered the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his work in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
