Gay TikToker Goes Viral With Video Of Exorcist His Parents Hired To Clear 'Demons' From His Room

TikToker Andrew Hartzler shared an unhinged video of a supposed 'exorcist' his parents hired to cleanse his bedroom of demons they thought were turning him gay.

A man on TikTok has gone viral after sharing a disturbing video of an exorcist his parents hired after he came out to them.

TikToker Andrew Hartzler was 14 when he told his parents he was gay, and the devout members of a Christian sect called the International House of Prayer did not take it well.

Hartzler, now 25, revealed to Insider that he was sent to conversion camp and was also forced to attend the very conservative Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he would be "removed" from influences.

After telling his parents that being straight wasn't an option, things seemed to escalate.

Though the TikToker did go back to college, he suspected his parents would be going through his things at home, so he set up hidden cameras.

And that's how he found out about the hired exorcist.

In his TikTok, the creator introduced the video:

"Here's when my parents hired an exorcist to get all the demons out of my room that they thought were making me gay."

The footage shows a man, Bible in hand, walking around the TikToker's room and into his closet commanding "every evil spirit" to leave.

He can be heard saying:

"Devil go in Jesus’ name. You foul spirit, you leave in Jesus’ name."
"Every evil spirit go now in Jesus’ name. And I pray the conviction of the Lord upon this room."
“Devil you have no more place, you can never enter this room again. I plead the blood of Christ over this closet, over every piece of clothing in here."

While viewers of the TikTok were entertained, they also expressed their heartbreak that Hartzler had to endure such experiences.

Once the shock value wore off, however, many had a good chuckle over all the time the exorcist was spending in the closet.

As it turns out, homophobia runs in the family.

In 2022, Hartzler went viral on TikTok after calling out his "Aunt Vicky," a.k.a. Republican Missouri Rep. Vicky Hartzler, after she gave an emotional speech urging her "colleagues" to vote against a "misguided and dangerous bill."

It was for marriage equality.

Hartzler revealed he no longer speaks to his parents and has no regrets exposing people like them.

"[It's] really important for people to see that there are right-wing Christian fanatics who are subjecting their children to this type of practice and that they believe being gay is something profoundly evil that has to be performed away by some ritual."

We couldn't agree more.

Leavitt Lashes Out At Amazon Over 'Hostile' Plan To Display Added Tariff Costs For Products On Website

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt lashed out at Amazon over news that the commerce giant planned to display increased "import charges" on items on their Amazon Haul website, essentially showing to customers the extra money they'd have to shell out as a result of President Donald Trump's tariffs.

Trump has escalated a growing trade war by imposing tariffs of up to 145% on Chinese imports, prompting China to retaliate with its own 125% tariffs on American goods. Additionally, the U.S. has slapped a 10% tax on imports from most other countries, while temporarily suspending higher rates for several nations for 90 days.
