Unsettling.

A Democratic Congressman posted a voicemail on Twitter that received from an irate individual mimicking the sound of a gun and threatening to start a war.

"I'm not afraid of this guy. I'm not afraid of the NRA. I'm not afraid. No fear," California's Eric Swalwell, the decorated war veteran and gun control advocate, wrote on Wednesday.

"Eric Swalwell - here's a little ditty for ya - pop pop popbop pop pop," the man said. "Thirty round clip, you're all gonna drop."

The rhetoric escalated from there:

"And I don't give a f*ck anymore. You motherf*ckers think you got some new young motherf*cker going to take over and f*ck the Constitution."

Dude kept going:

"F*ck you! You wanna go to war motherf*cker? We're going to war. And you're going to be the first motherf*cking casualty. F*ck you."

Watch/listen below:

Swalwell in his video said that even though Congress has voted in favor of better background checks, they also "must pass ban and buyback assault weapons next." Swalwell, who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, has advocated for buyback programs, particularly assault-style weapons like the notorious AR-15.

Twitter swelled with support for the Congressman.

These truly are dangerous times.

Hopefully the authorities catch the caller because he is the type of person who should never have access to firearms.

Swalwell's supporters certainly think so.

This is what gun control advocates are up against.

Jameela Jamil Just Shared A Brilliant Post About The 'Smear Campaign' Against Chappell Roan—And Other Celebs Agree

The Good Place star Jameela Jamil has rarely shied away from sharing her opinions, and the recent "scandal" surrounding Chappell Roan is no exception.

Roan has once again become the internet's whipping girl after being accused—falsely, it would seem—of sending her security to harass Jude Law and Catherine Harding's 11-year-old daughter Ada at a hotel in Sao Paolo, where they were dining with Harding's husband, Brazilian soccer star Jorginho Frello.
