QAnon Rep. Pledges To Write National 'Don't Say Gay' Bill In Mind-Numbing Alex Jones Interview

QAnon Rep. Pledges To Write National 'Don't Say Gay' Bill In Mind-Numbing Alex Jones Interview

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia—a far-right legislator and QAnon conspiracy theorist—vowed to push a federal version of Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill during an interview with conservative host Alex Jones.

The Republican sponsored bill was signed by Governor Ron DeSantis on Monday.

The legislation prohibits educators from teaching or discussing sexual orientation or gender identity with students in kindergarten through third grade in the state of Florida.

Frustrations grew across the country as the bill effectively marginalizes members of the LGBTQ community.

Jones—host of the Alex Jones Show and a prominent conspiracy theorist—asked the GOP Congresswoman:

"So, are you going to write a bill or introduce a bill 'cause you've got the power to do it?"
"We would all get behind you, a bill to pull federal funding out of any school that sexualizes children."

Without hesitation, Green responded:

"Absolutely.100%."
"I'll meet with my team right after this interview and we will get to work on it, Alex, because I will do anything I can to protect kids."
"I only want allies, but if you know what if someone doesn't like me or my legislation, then who cares?"
"I don't care."

You can watch the exchange in the below clip:

Those who caught wind of her pledge are horrified, but not surprised.

One viewer tweeted:

"Republican Representative from Georgia offers reminder that Republicans want LGBTQ people eradicated."
"Cruel, dangerous bigotry is a cornerstone of GOP policy."
"This is who they are."
"People who vote Republican willingly collaborate with this bigotry."

Others cited the relationship between the two extremists:

"MTG says she will put her legislative team to work on a national version of the 'Don’t Say Gay' bill at the urging of Alex Jones."
"In other words: Alex Jones now has someone crazy enough to turn his ramblings into legislation."

Some are saying if Taylor is concerned for kids, she's focusing on the wrong agenda.

Most agree anything that comes out of either Jones' or Taylor's mouth is absurd.

The likelihood of such federal legislation coming to be is zero to none in thd current House of Representatives.

If Republicans retake control of Congress in November however, they may carry out their anti-LGBTQ+ agenda on a national level.

Citizens of both Greenland and the Faroe Islands are full citizens of Denmark. As one of the Overseas Countries and Territories of the European Union, Greenland’s citizens are also recognized as EU citizens.
