Country singer Miranda Lambert recently added to the contemporary discourse about how to act at concerts.
In a clip from her Las Vegas residency, the singer-songwriter was recorded starting her song "Tin Man" then stopping the song to chastise some people in the front who were 'taking selfies.'
Lambert said:
"I’m gonna stop right here for a second, sorry, These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the songs, [and] it’s pissing me off a little bit."
"I don’t like it―at all."
"We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country dang music!”
She then began the song again.

Some folks were supportive of her actions, as they too are irritated by people taking selfies instead of listening.
Several of them specifically wondered how anyone could take pictures during "Tin Man."
However, some reactions to Lambert's action were negative.
Many pointed out the people taking selfies paid to be there and Lambert nor the Vegas venue have a cell phone policy for her concerts that prohibits photography.
Lambert is performing in Las Vegas through the end of the year.
