The 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star took to Instagram to call out concerns about her health, telling fans to 'check yourself haters.'

Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Michelle Trachtenberg fired back after fans negatively speculated about her well-being based on her latest photos on social media.

Last Friday, in response to several comments urging her to see a doctor because she looked unwell on social media, the 38-year-old shared:

"I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy."

She then advised, "Check yourself haters."

Examples of some unsolicited opinions in response to one of her selfies included a user who, under the guise of concern, wrote:

"I don't mean any harm, but your sclera appear to be pretty yellow. You may want to get your liver enzymes checked."

Others have raised concerns about her eyes.

A day later, when her first message didn't seem to get across, Trachtenberg posted a selfie and clarified once and for all:

"Fun fact. This is my face. Not malnutrition no problems."
"Why do you have you hate? Get a calendar."

Plenty of people came to her defense.

Trachtenberg rose to stardom as a child actor in shows like The Adventures of Pete & Pete and Harriet the Spy.

She gained further recognition for Buffy as Dawn Summers, the young sister of the title protagonist played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, and for playing socialite Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl.

In 2021, she reprised her Gossip Girl role for the reboot and also hosted the Tubi true crime TV series Meet, Marry, Murder.

This wasn't the first time Trachtenberg defended her looks after accusations of having work done on her face.

Last year on January 17, she posted a selfie with the following caption.

"In light of hearing people turning to plastic surgery to fluff up their face. I post this photo to show, I have never had anything done."
"I hope someone reading this post sees how beautiful they are naturally."

She then encouraged fans to "Drink water, use face cream and sunscreen. And most important: never let the bullies drag you down!"

Now that's timeless advice.
