With less than a week before the nation's first caucuses and primaries, most of the 2020 Democratic Presidential candidates are spending every moment of their free time in Iowa, courting voters.

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg, however, entered the race late and has decided instead to skip the campaign's opening contests, instead focusing on the states which will vote on Super Tuesday.

While in Vermont, Bloomberg tried a pretty unorthodox campaigning technique when he was introduced to a dog.

After shaking a man's hand, Bloomberg kept the momentum going by shaking a dog's mouth.

Yes, you read that correctly.

He shook the dog's mouth.

On Twitter, Bloomberg was mercilessly roasted for his strange greeting.

Maybe we should all be shaking dogs by the mouth?

Some people did point out that many dogs don't mind some light wrestling.

Others, however, were ready to revolt.

No matter which side of the issue you fall on, the video is certainly hard to look away from.
